Bike Bangkok: Historic City Tour
From US$42.54
Escape the tourist track and explore the backstreets of Bangkok on a small-group bike tour. Get around the city the way locals do while following a guide across the Chao Phraya River, through diverse neighborhoods, and along the city’s canals to get a sense of the “real” Bangkok. Along the way, stop at markets and street vendors to refuel with authentic Thai snacks.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and hop on a rental bike in central Bangkok near legendary Khao San Road. Ride along the Chao Phraya River and cross the city’s main artery using the Rama 8 Bridge. Then duck into a Muslim neighborhood to learn about the Thai capital’s diversity. Watch scenes of daily life in the bustling city as you follow the Bangkok Noi Canal, and cross back over the river via ferry.

Visit a local market for a lesson in Thai culinary culture and samples of authentic street snacks and then pedal over to the the Giant Swing, where you’ll learn how this landmark once played an important role in a Hindu ceremony. Make your way back to the starting point for a celebratory beverage with your small group before parting ways.

Fantastic ride

We had a great time with Puna. She was very knowledgeable about Chiang Mai and a very safe tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour for families with teens ... like us.

Booked this trip after musing about the 6 hour one and being conscious of my fitness levels. I needn't have worried. We were a group of three. Me and a couple from Germany with Tammy as our guide and it was a fairly easy ride....More
