Overview
Experience authentic Thai culture on a Damnoen Saduak Floating Market day trip from Bangkok. Unlike other Damnoen Saduak tours, this experience includes an exhilarating ride on a long-tailed speed boat, which transports you to the rural location with efficiency and ease. A guide reveals essential information about the market’s history and produce, and teaches you Thai phrases that help you interact with locals. Convenient hotel pickup and drop-off are also included.
What to Expect

Your day trip begins with pickup from your Bangkok hotel, where you’ll board a vehicle destined for Damnoen Saduak. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to a long-tailed boat and speed through marshes and past atmospheric stilt houses. En route you’ll receive a comprehensive introduction to the culture and history of the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

Cruise past floating stalls selling fresh produce and exotic fruits while your guide explains the origin and use of particularly unique ingredients along the way. For an additional cost, you can purchase souvenirs and opt to take a ride on a local boat.

After sufficient exploration of the market, return to your Bangkok hotel via boat and bus.

Great Day!

I really love this boat tour, everything is nice! But the food, drinks, souvenir ... are overpriced. You should check the price before buying anything here.

Dear Hanie, Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed the tour. Part of the market experience is that you haggle and it’s quite fun when you try with the locals. Regards, Nick Business Development Manager.

Book a Private tour for your boat trip to Floating Markets.

Tried half Flooding Market, One Full Day to Khai Yai and half day Grand Palace. Their guides and drivers are prompt in picking up and caring during the tours. Prices are reasonable. You may customize your trips to suite your time and liking. Highly recommended...More

Tourist Trap

This is basically a long boat that takes you to a series of different vendors, the same vendors and shops you’d find on the street or a local market. Everything is way overpriced. We paid 5000 baht for the “tour”. I bought a beer and...More

Save your money and time. It is a tourist trap! The boat will take you around the canals and stop at stalls for you to buy stuff that you can get from stores, street vendors and night markets in Bangkok. The canals were very... More
