It was lovely to meet Daniel and his family in their home -- to see a bit of Ethiopian daily life. It was fun to try my hand at pouring an injera. Tigist showed how to make six different fillings for injera. And lunch was delicious. It was a very professionally run experience.

Really cool experience! Very warm and lovely family and even though I cook Ethiopian already, was able to learn new recipes and techniques. I was supposed to go on the Monday of Timkat, but due to the parades and celebrations, I was not able to leave the neighborhood I was at.
