- kimpT5453MM0 contributionsSahara dessert trip..Had a fantastic 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga dessert tour. Visited some great places on the way with a fab group of people.. Mahmould our driver was great..so friendly and helpful, always making sure we were okay. Would definitely recommend this activity while in Marrakech..Written February 15, 2025
- meganrH470YS0 contributionsAmazing !!!What an unforgettable experience. Can’t quite comprehend the cost as it was so amazing. A huge amount of time spent on the bus but the views were so beautiful and each stop was completely worth it. Very well organised. Wished it would never end.Written February 15, 2025
- KajetanO40 contributionsGreat time with great peopleGreat variety of breathtaking landscapes to see. From snowy peaks of Atlas mountains to sand dunes of Merzouga desert. If you'd like more authentic and fairly priced marrocan food I would recommend trying to find a local restaurant instead of the touristy ones, where all of the busses stop. Other than that I've had a great time. Our guides Hakim and Aziz ware very welcoming and helpful. The drive, tough quite long, was very comfortable. Definitely worth the time and money!Written February 15, 2025
- F8926BLelisap0 contributionsBest tour ever!!Our three days tour was fantastic! Everything was perfectly organised. The warm and kindness of the Marrocan people is unique and as a part of it was Hakim and Azis taking care of us at all times and giving us useful advice. Even do I feel very tired on our ride back to Marrakesh I will highly recommend this tour.I loved it!Thank you all! Indeed.😘♥️🇲🇦Written February 15, 2025
- I1683QQryanh0 contributionsAn in depth and comprehensive experienceAyoub was the most incredible host. He was kind and welcoming and so knowledgeable. It felt like we were being guided by someone with a genuine passion not just for the adventure, but for his country, and to share its culture. We had such a wonderful time. I was slightly worried at first because I would have expected an experience like this to be more expensive but the great reviews assured me and it was so worth it. We booked it for the desert experience specifically, but honestly the trip there and all the extra stuff made it just as worth it. I will say that I do recommend bringing an extra 1000 dirhams for additional activities and because you’ll definitely want to tip both your driver (Ayoub for us) and the specific guides you have along the way.Written February 14, 2025

- davidnW5628WT0 contributionsBe cautious of good reviews!Supposed to be a 7 hour trip but turned out to be 11 hours. Lovely views and service from the guides, however the food at the restaurant was a let down, served cold and really slow service. The hike was amazing however could be considered quite hard for someone’s that’s not experienced or if children are going, which wasn’t mentioned. Also felt pressured to write a good review as they stand around as you write.Written February 13, 2025

I really liked the trip in general. The attention of Ali and Moha (our guides) has been exceptional, very attentive at all times. If we needed anything they were always willing to help with a smile on their face. On the other hand, there are some visits that I would eliminate from the itinerary, such as the one to the carpets, since it takes time to reach the dunes (main tourist objective of this trip). I thought the camp was amazing, beautiful and with a good buffet. In the morning they give you the option (for a fee) of taking a quad to see the sunrise from a higher dune (I highly recommend this activity, spectacular).
PS: One factor to take into account is the people you meet during these 3 days. If you're lucky, you may meet a wonderful group that will make your trip much more enjoyable. Thank you Belén and Adri for this trip hehe, see you in Malaga.

Very well done trip, the company made pick up very easy and stress free, they were able to meet us within 5minute walk of our hotel. The van was comfortable with good wifi once out of the mountains and driving was safe. The guides were very nice and very informative about local cultures and history of the Moroccan people. The local guides were very good about not bringing us to shops that put pressure to buy. Overall an enjoyable experience and I would recommend if unsure which tour company to go with.
Only critiques would be that we could have used a bit more of an itinerary clarification with reminders for what’s to come each day.
There was a little too much packed into each day it would have been nice to have some more time at the hotels.
As well as most of the meals were either buffet style or a family style set up leaving little in the way of personal preference for meals.

Wow, overall a unique and phenomenal experience to have. I travelled as a solo female traveller and for the entire trip I felt very safe and comfortable with my guide, Abdel, and driver, Jaafar. Abdel made the trip extremely fun, he was inclusive of everyone in the group, and offered well informed cultural and historical information about the country. He certainly contributed to the great group atmosphere that my tour had, including a delightful selection of music for the drives. There was great communication through the what’s app group regarding daily itineraries, any questions the group had, and for sharing group photos. Abdel also provided great suggestions for things I could do after the trip!
The 3 days are very intensive, fast paced, and cover a lot of ground and experiences but did have plenty of breaks built into them. The tour offered some unique opportunities that I may have missed if I was travelling without a guide. The first day stop at Kaspa Ait Ben Haddou doesn’t include the cost of the local guide but for 20 Dirhams it was well worth it. He was fun and knowledgeable. The second day at Tingir the guide is included. I believe our guides name was Mustafa, he was incredibly fun and engaging as well as knowledgeable. He took us through some agricultural areas and into the old city where we stopped to have tea and learn about Berber carpets (a low pressure opportunity to purchase if you are interested), as well as to the Todra Gorges which were very stunning. Be sure to have some money for tips, it was definitely worth it.
One thing to know, while lunch costs are not included in the tour and you are not required to eat where the tour stops for lunch, there were no other places to go eat during that time either. Most of the lunches were buffet style and ranged from 100-130 Dirham.
The time out in the desert was easily the most memorable experience and a not to be missed opportunity. The camel ride was amazing, the sand boarding was quite entertaining, and the sunset on the dunes was incredible. I would definitely recommend the upgrade to luxury camping, my tent was large with a king sized bed and private shower. That evening you has the opportunity to wander and watch the night sky, the stars were extraordinary to see from the desert. I opted for the ATV experience the next morning (400 Dirhams) and we got to drive through the desert for an hour, starting in the dark and watching the sun come up.
Overall I would do this trip again, but I would opt for a few more days to be able to experience even more that Morocco has to offer!

Our tour guide Simo was so patient for us and spectacular going above and beyond in each destination. 3 days out to somewhere outside of the major city can be daunting, but Simo will make this experience memorable and extraordinary. He led a big group of curious travelers really well, and I would like to give overall 5 stars for the trip thanks to him.
Just a couple things; I booked a Deluxe Tent, and if you plan to depart during the *winter* season, there are season dependent variables that need to be considered, and I want to share them honestly to help future travelers make informed decisions.
Firstly, please be prepared for considerably cold desert weather. I hope the first hotel in Tanghir (or a few miles off Tanghir than expected) improve insulation because sleep was interrupted due to temperature despite extra accommodation offered from the staffs. I think this is something the company needs to communicate with the hotel establishment to ensure quality stay experience. The first day tour experience was 10/10!
Secondly, the shower in Sahara can be still challenging even with a Deluxe Tent option. Private access to a bathroom is guaranteed, but there is little to no access to hot or even a warm water. Based on conversations with travelers in regular tents, the quality of experience was just as par with Deluxe minus the privilege to a private bathroom.
Since I wanted hot water access, had I known these factors via reviews, I would have personally booked a regular tent to save budget. Again, this is mentioned only for winter visits. Need private bathroom in a tent? Choose Deluxe! Need a guaranteed hot water access in a tent during winter? Neither. Choose whatever fits your preference. I hope this will help somebody who's weighing options.
The itinerary and guide experience are beyond fantastic! Great company and great tour guide, and I met an extraordinary group of people from all over the world. I would like to end this review with a solid 9 out of 5 star recommendation as this shouldn't be missed.

Omar’s knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism made this tour a standout experience. His passion for his country and culture was evident in every story he told and every site he showed us. The itinerary was well-planned, balancing sightseeing with cultural immersion. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was good throughout the trip.
If you're looking for an authentic and enriching Moroccan desert tour, I highly recommend this three-day journey with Omar as your guide. It's an adventure you'll cherish forever.
Quad biking costs extra however I would highly recommend it as it’s much more exciting than camel riding!

Definitely recommend this trip. It was an amazing way to see the country while travelling from Marrakesh to Fes. Simo was a lovely, attentive guide and his minibus driving felt very safe.
We stopped at viewpoints so that we could see the stunning and varied landscapes including the snowy Atlas Mountains. Simo offered to take pictures for the group and made sure to tell us about the different areas we drove through. Some good stop offs at attractions/historic sites along the way.
Our hotel for the first night was clean with lovely hosts and delicious local food.
The Sahara desert was an unforgettable experience. We upgraded last minute to the deluxe camp site which was done with no issues. Surreal to see the sunrise and set by camel and the Berber evening entertainment was a lot of fun.
Would recommend bringing warm clothes as the evenings in January can be very chilly. Thank you Simo and our travel companions for such a special few days.

Great tour. Very well organised and guides were awesome. Amazing well rounded experience of Morocco.
We went on this tour as a couple and had a great time. Ali was our guide and he was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful always making sure we knew everything we needed to. He is very approachable and just a genuinely nice guy which was great.
There are a few unlisted stops on this tour, the monkey forest for example was a quick fun stop which added value, I think overall this was very good value for money.
I read reviews about being taken to carpet shops and almost being forced to buy things which didn’t happen to us really, apart from once to buy a scarf on our way past but that scarf was promoted as great for the desert which it absolutely was (although we didn’t buy one).
I also read reviews about being taken to overpriced crappy restaurants which I also didn’t experience. I think the places we were taken were definitely tourist traps but I didn’t feel that they were overpriced or poor standard of food. Hygiene is definitely a concern in Morocco for us so we steered clear of a lot of food but that is our choice and nothing lacking on behalf of the company.
There were lots of bathroom stops very well placed every 2 hours or so usually.
Bad points - the bus had 19 of us on including driver and guide. It was extremely cramped. I’m not a huge guy, average size fairly broad shoulders and my back was in pain shortly after setting off. Long drives cramped with an uncomfortable bus was not great.
Desert camp - advertised as a private bathroom but we did not get one, they are shared so was not happy with that but we made do.
Overall the tour was great. For us it was tiring but I enjoyed seeing so much of Morocco and Ali was really amazing keeping us all organised and I would definitely recommend this for anyone considering it is well worth the money, certainly an unforgettable experience.

Our 3-day tour offered outstanding value for the price we paid. At just £150 per person, the experience delivered far more than anticipated. Beyond the basic cost, there were minor additional expenses such as tips for the guides and optional activities like quad biking, but these only added to the richness of our adventure. Our guide, Ali, was a fountain of knowledge, enhancing our experience with his insights, alongside other local guides at various points of interest.
The itinerary included stunning stops like the enchanting Ait Ben Haddou and the awe-inspiring canyon, each contributing to the tapestry of our journey. The highlights included a camel ride to our desert encampment, marveling at the sunset, and the exhilaration of sandboarding. This trip was truly memorable, made even more special by the fantastic group of people we shared it with, forging a close bond over these three incredible days.

I highly recommend this 3-day trip in Morocco with Hakim as a guide and driver. The entire experience was outstanding, from the breathtaking landscapes to the exceptional service.
Hakim was not only highly knowledgeable about the region but also incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating. He ensured that every part of the journey was smooth, comfortable, and full of interesting insights about Moroccan culture, history, and traditions.
The itinerary was perfectly planned, allowing us to explore stunning mountains, picturesque valleys, and the mesmerizing desert. Each stop was well-timed, giving us enough time to fully appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. The accommodations were excellent—comfortable, clean, and with great hospitality. The food was also a highlight, offering a delicious and authentic taste of Moroccan cuisine.
From start to finish, this trip was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a well-organized and immersive adventure in Morocco, I highly recommend traveling with Hakim!

Joined 3 days tour with deluxe camp tent. 1st night at a brand new hotel and 2nd night at desert camp tent. Hotel was better than expected and staff were very friendly. The tent was big but very warm inside without windows. It's 38 degree during the day, without AC in the car/room/tent was not comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners were included, food was ok. Restaurants for lunch were ok but not cheap in Morocco standard, around 110-150MAD without drink in small portion.
In a 9 person van stopped at several places. The driver (no tour guide) was good at driving, drove safely and smoothly, not too fast not too slow. Great local guides at Aït Benhaddou and Todgha Gorge. Not suitable for elderly and small children.
Camel rides were good experiences. One time for sunset and one time for sunrise. Each took 15-25 minutes to the viewpoints in the desert.

Hi - We have booked the 3 day tour for April 2025. I tried email the company a few times with questions/requesting confirmation, but 10 days later and I have yet to get a reply. Has anyone else encountered this?
If you booked via tripadvisor (vs directly on their website), did you get an email/notification from the company before your trip?

Each person on the tour was dropped off according to where they were staying. The Tour guides contacted each location for pickup instructions. I was first & my Riad came to guide me to my stay

He there, I am wondering where exactly is the difference between deluxe and premium and if camel ride and quad tours are included in both options. Thanks for your answer in advance. S.

Hello! My family of four is planning to go on this tour in April 2025. I have a few questions…1. If we ride the camels to reach the camp, how does our luggage get to camp? Is it brought over separately? We are staying in Morocco for 10 days and this adventure is connecting us from Marrakesh to Fes so naturally we will need to bring all of our luggage along. 2. Do they allow children to ride on the camels with their parents? My children want to try and think they would enjoy it but would likely be too afraid to ride alone.
