We booked this as a shore excursion from our cruise. Neva who was our guide knew all the local spots on the Island and was very great to listen to all the knowledge she had as A. a trained culinary expert and B. A local. From Poké to shave Ice to malasadas. Ate until we were stuffed. We even went a separate day to to get more shave Ice. Thank you Neva for the great experience!!!!

Better than described in flyer. Everything was excellent- food and beverages. Go hungry because there’s more food served than expected. Only one suggestion - Quinn must get a stool to assist passengers to get in and out of the van. Otherwise - a great experience and well worth the cost.

Excellent driver and tour guide. Comfortable minibus. Saw about a dozen green sea turtles, great waves and views, a couple of life birds and had very tasty banana bread. Great experience, well done.

Neeva was so engaging, we saw so much of the island. The food was authentic and Neeva explained everything as we went. The drive was awesome and a great way to see the island. Would definitely encourage others to go!!

I wish I could say how amazing and enjoyable that that trip was. But I can’t because I’ve got a phone call from the Famous Road to Hana Mercedes van and told me that the day I booked had no other group or people to take on a journey. The representative told me I can change the date or cancel if I don’t want take a chance and wait until that and see anyone else book a tour. Well I couldn’t take that chance as well I had had other plans for deferent dates, tee time for playing golf, reservations for restaurants that have limited open tables, etc. There weren’t any available spots to schedule with others because the date was too close the tour day. So unfortunately, I bet get to experience the famous Road to Hana. All thanks to Famous Road to Hana Mercedes van. So, anyone who are looking for this tour, should aware about a possibility of this situation.

Great experience with Eric! Eric was so knowledgeable about the island and its history while being so attentive to guests and their needs. Eric even showed us how to climb up the side of a waterfall to jump into the pool and was always offering to take pictures!

Hello. According to Quinn Schroeder, the driver, the alternator and battery light illuminated the dash before the tour began and notified management, Due to proper precautions not being taken, the van we were in not only broke down, the air conditioning stopped working multiple times throughout the tour. The well being of the guests was not considered knowing that the route that was being taken would not allow for cell service or any type of assistance in the ten hour trek alongside a mountain. We were without AC for so long the 80 year old man on the bus was sweating profusely. The title of the tour states “luxury tour to Road to Hana” The vehicle we were in was very outdated and should have been replaced at the start of the tour to ensure the safety of all Guests on board. Submitting a refund in full was denied by Mark Weiner, the manager. > > Let me add that once broken down, we were taken dangerously from One van to the other in the middle of the road with barely any room to walk on a very hazardous busy roadway. He then threatened to charge us for eating and drinking on the van and not picking up after ourselves! Im sorry what were we supposed to do while broken down and having a heat stroke? Was I supposed to worry about pick up a bag of chips and water bottle while exiting the van into a dangerous roadway with my three children? Unacceptable. Do any other tour besides them, it is about dollar signs only and not our safety. They neglected to put all 14 guests into a safe vehicle for a 10 hour trek alongside a mountain that would not allow for cell service. Not worth it, you can do this tour without them. Very easy and you won't be on a time crunch. Let me add that they do not make many stops and when they do, it is for a few minutes. There lunches provided were gas station sandwiches only. >

Our tour guide, Roger, was wonderful, personalbe and very professional. The Road to Hana is a dangerous road to travel but Roger had our safety always a priority. I’d give the tour 5 stars, but found the van very uncomfortable. The seats were so close together that we had less leg room than an economy airline seat. If you were over 5’8” you could barely fit. I would expect more comfort in a Mercedes van, and had I known the seating situation I wouldn’t have signed up for the tour.

I've done food tours all over the world and this was the best I've ever done. Food was authentic and delicious. Helpings were generous and amount of samples were plentiful. You won't go away hungry (in some cases you'll be asked to eat MORE!) Andre was knowledgeable and super fun. Just flowed with it when one of the places had kitchen issues. He also encourage us to really bond as a group which was great. Food is unpretentious so don't expect Michelin star restaurant hors d'eouvres but if you want a fun and delicious way to explore Hawaiian culture, this is it!

Guide Quinn was really good, He made sure everyone is enjoying through out the journey. I would recommend to any one who is looking to take a relaxing guided tour

We really enjoyed our food tour with Andre. Nothing fancy or pretentious just good food from local restaurants and vendors. Andre was knowledgeable, friendly and fun!

We took part in the Taste of Maui Tour with Andre. He was an incredible engaging tour guide with great knowledge and sense of humor. The food stops were perfect and we met so great felllow passengers..

We have done the Hana Highway a number of times over the years, mostly driving ourselves. While we have taken tours before they were mostly scenic tours with little information. This tour with Quinn as our guide was both enjoyable from a scenic standpoint and educational from Quinn’s vast knowledge of the Hawaiian language, heritage, history and the flora and fauna. We highly recommend Stardust tours with Quinn as your guide to Hana.

We had an outstanding trip with Andre. He was such a joy to spend the day with. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this trip to anyone that would like to taste the local Dishes .
