Oh. My. Gosh! Cannot thank Coco enough for the wonderful experience she gave us on this tour! Mahalo! It was a pleasure to spend the day in her company, we could've done nothing but hang out with her and we would've had a great time. She was so personable and kind and a lot of fun. We loved getting to see the Waimea Canyon; it's majestic and has so many variations in vegetation and formation and coloration that anywhere you look is a unique scene. My 'in-laws' were particularly pleased with it's splendor in comparison to the Grand Canyon, which they enjoy. Coco took us to all of the lookout spots and, bonus, was a decent photographer with all the right placements of person to vista ratio. We also got to visit a bakery specializing in Malasadas (yes, yes, a thousand times yes!), the Kauai Coffee Company (freeeee samples!), the Koke'e Lodge (unctuously savory farm to table Hawaiian staples), & Koke'e State Park (although this particular tour did not have time for trails / views of Kalalau Valley) and Hanapepe, the little historic town featured in Lilo and Stitch with lots of great little local artisan shops. Coco shared interesting historical and cultural information along the way and was always encouraging us to ask questions. My partner was very interested in a geological book that she had, he even bought the last copy (it's out of print now) at the Koke'e Gift Shop. She gave us great recommendations for what else to try before we left (Wailua Shave Ice) and what to do on our last day between hotel check out and rental car return (Kilohana Plantation). We just loved Coco so much! <3 I named my super kawaii pineapple travel pillow souvenir 'Coco-chan' :3 Oh yeah, Coco's daughter, Shasta, is also a guide and we kept seeing her at different stops; I would 100% recommend her expertise as well. Ohana, yo!

Coco was absolutely 💯 incredible. Very knowledgeable about the area and of the history of the Hawaiian people. We learned a lot from her. She stopped many times for us to take beautiful pictures and allowed us to pose while she took pictures of us and of the guest. The bus was clean and the air conditioning worked GREAT 👍 which was extremely important for us because it was a warm day. Recommended for everyone. Thanks Coco!

On this tour we saw amazing sites, but the best part of the tour was our tour guide Coco and the people. It was evident from before the tour that Coco genuinely cared about the experience she provides with detailed information and constant communication. Her van was extremely comfortable to travel in and she provided a small library of literature for anyone interested. She provided water throughout the tour and constantly was checking in with everyone. Along the way, she asked who had already been where and made impromptu adjustments based on what the group wanted to see/do. By the end it felt like a group of friends living out a grand adventure and she offered to contact her anytime for any help/questions we may need on the island. There are not words to adequately describe how great this tour was and I would recommend this tour over any of the bigger/commercial operations. We were truly on Island time and not rushed and it was perfect!

This is our 3rd time traveling with Coco. She was very friendly and her stories were great. We learn new things about Kauai on every visit. We would do another trip with her on our next Kauai vacation.

What a beautiful and fun tour! We were picked up at our hotel by Shasta and she took us to waterfalls, beaches and places that only a local would know about. This tour was the perfect amount of time and we really had a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a private tour book this company - it’s a woman owned company and you won’t be disappointed. Signed up for small group but because of low sign up adjusted to semi private tour for 4 people. Shasta was our host and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about island. Picked up and returned us up to our resort so no driving which was great. Gave us plenty of time at each stop and recommendations of what to look for, what to eat and where to shop. Always felt safe with her driving and use of head set made it easy to hear while driving. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I are on Kauai celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and we absolutely loved meeting Coco, the owner of Soul Travel. She's one of those people you just immediately adore and feel like you've known forever! She was so organized, with helpful instructions before we met, and she was punctual and knowledgeable. Be ready to laugh because Coco gets everyone joking around and laughing all day long. She did a terrific job managing our eclectic group of people, and everyone felt taken care of and everything flowed with ease- grandparents who needed a nap, little kids who have short attention span, and kid-less couples, everyone was happy! I do a lot of research before I travel and had already seen a lot before the tour and Coco took me to all new spots I would have never seen on my own, and the most gorgeous views of the whole vacation! We learned so much about the area, the legends, and the history, which my husband and I absolutely loved. We got so many great photos of us from the tour too! She's a great photographer! As promised, she generously helped us with other recommendations to do after the tour with her as well. I cannot recommend Coco and Soul Travel more! All her tours are a must!!!

Fun and great tour. Shasta was a joy to be around. Sweet fun and very knowledgeable! Woukd highly recommend. Had a wonderful lunch and shaved Hawaiian ice for dessert.

We snagged a shared tour because private was no longer available. Coco does not pack her vehicles to the max, she keeps her clients comfy! So we had no issues sharing the day with a multigenerational family. Coco is a beautiful storyteller and rich with knowledge of Kauai. Her positivity and wit were a nice addition to our day. From the Waimea Canyon to the swinging bridge, the tunnel of trees and beyond to little local spots, we had a lovely day! Worth every penny and more!

The 5 hour short and sweet was the perfect excursion to experience Kauai’s breathtaking waterfalls and beaches. Our guide Coco pointed out many historic spots too and her love of the island was contagious. My new friends on the ship were envious of the photos I was able to capture on this short and sweet excursion.

This tour was an engaging and stunning introduction to Kaua'i. We knew little to nothing about the island when we arrived and wouldn't have had the slightest idea where to drive and explore had we just gone out on our own. The tour taught us so much about the island, which greatly improved our experience for the rest of our visit. It was an incredible way to see many of the island's highlights from the best possible vantage points, while also enjoying an authentic experience of the culture of the island. Crucially, the company reached out to us a couple of days prior to the tour to alert us to issues with underbooking, and provided a range of options of how to still enjoy the tour while adjusting for the circumstances. The personal communication, friendliness and commitment to providing an excellent experience are second to none. Almost immediately, it felt like having a local friend show you their favorite spots on the island, rather than being an impersonal and overly rehearsed tour. We didn't know it upon booking, but the family-owned nature of the company really showed through over the course of the tour, which added to the authenticity and personal feel of the tour. That said, it was still a professional, clean and safe tour. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting the island, regardless of age or party size. If you are lucky enough to have Shasta as your tour guide, I can 100% promise you're in for an excellent experience.
