Elio was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable, and kind. The tour was wonderful, the food was great and of course, we loved the Chocolate making is was a great day. We enjoyed the horseback riding, the horses are well cared for and loved. The riding on the farm was nice but hot and in the open, in the pictures, it seems as though you ride more along the river than you actually do. We saw lots of wildlife on our tour, iguanas, tarantulas, spider monkeys and more. Elio's keen eye and knowledge of the area helped us learn more about this beautiful area.

This tour was day 2 for us and we had Elio once again! We had such a wonderful time riding through the ranch. Pictures really do not do these places justice. It was SO GREEN and peaceful. We got to ride through the ranch up to the cattle and to the river, WOW what a magical place! Afterward we went into town made some chocolate and had a nice meal with Elio. Then we drove up to a waterfall for a nice swim. The water was definitely cold, but after the hike down the stairs it was much needed !
We feel as though we gained a friend throughout these tours as I’m sure anyone who comes across Elio does. This was definitely an unexpected tour that turned out to be one of my absolute FAVORITE DAYS. Our other tour was the Xunantunich/cave tubing tour which you can read my review there !:)

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Ellios (sp? Sorry!), was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease. The horses for the ride were sweet and gentle. The Xunantunich tour was awe inspiring and definite must do if you’re on the fence! The chocolate making tour was interesting and we learned a lot. Also, our included lunch was at Rolstons. Absolutely so stinkin delicious!

What an amazing day, best day of our week in Belize! The Mayan ruins were awesome, and the cave tubing was one of a kind. Elio was so friendly and knowledgeable about everything we saw, it was a pleasure being with such an expert. Great service, great food, best trip ever!

Altough we couldn't visit Xunantunich due to heavy rains, we had a very nice alternative tour as we visitied the Maya ruins of Cahal Pech. Our guide is very well informed and awesomely nice and helpful! The horseback riding through jungle was something completely different to other tours and is absolutely recommended. The horses are very nice and lovely - works fine for beginners!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our tour with St. Leonard's. Rodolfo was an outstanding guide! It was just the two of us on the tour which allowed for a very personalized experience. My husband isn't very comfortable with horses, but Rodolfo was very patient and helpful and frequently checked in to make sure we were both doing ok. Riding around the farm was very peaceful, and it was awesome to learn so much about the ancient Mayans who used to live in the area, as well as the flora and fauna. After riding for awhile (almost 2 hours I think) we returned and headed out to Xunantunich. What an awesome experience! We'd already visited Tikal, but I think this might have been even more impressive, simply because of the vast amount of knowledge Rodolfo shared. We also had lunch at a fantastic local restaurant (much better than many of the places within San Ignacio) and then participated in a chocolate making experience at Ajaw. Overall, I can't recommend a tour with St. Leonard's enough! They are small, personalized, very flexible, and extremely informative tours. Highly suggest you check them out!!

We are a family of 6 adults. Very interested in the horseback riding / Xunantunich ruins and chocolate making special that you have advertised
Questions:
- Can you accommodate 6 - realize your website says 5 ... but we cannot leave anyone behind.
- How much time is spend at the ruins ... walking, climbing to the top and learning the history
(Your website says VEHICULAR TOUR - not sure I understand. Thought it was horse back to the ruins?
-Cost per person is ?
-Staying at Cahal Pech - pict up and drop off from there?
