Tikal is amazing and worth the trip from San Ignacio. We were disappointed with our tour guide who seemed to be going tough the motions and didn’t seem very interested or engaging.

We booked through Belize Family Adventure for the trip to Tikal. I was nervous for the border crossing with two young children, it was so easy. Another company picks you up once you cross the border. The food was great, the gift shop was fun and some great masks to buy.

This was a very beautiful experience visiting this Mayan ancient city ruin. It was worth the time and steps seeing the temples and the views from the top of the temples. If you want to go and see the ruins, go and you won't be disappointed. Also the lunch was very delicious
