We had a great tour with Eli on a beautiful October afternoon! Our group was a little large (9 riders total) and Eli did a great time keeping the group together, making sure everyone made it through street crossings before moving on. We saw a variety of sights — White House, Treasury, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and more — and had a fun time cruising DC by Segway. This was the 9th or 10th Segway tour for my girlfriend and me and was very well-run. Overall the tour lasted a little more than 2 hours, including a stop to go inside the Lincoln Memorial. Eli was also generous with his photo-taking skills! I highly recommend Capital Segway to novice and experienced Segway riders.

All I can say is JUST DO IT!! This is the best way to see the monuments and DC - I recommend going at 6:30pm so you can see the lights at night.

Our tour guide was Justin and he was awesome! He is very knowledgable and speaks four languages.

I loved this tour and would do it again the next time in DC. And the price is very reasonable. Capital Segways spends time with you in the beginning teaching you how to ride and away you go!

Capital Segway Tours was a great company to work with! We had a small window of time to set up our tour, and they were very helpful in setting up a private tour for our group of nine people. Our tour guide, Erika, was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and insightful.

I would definitely book a tour with them in the future and would feel comfortable recommending other to do so as well.

Some of the sights we saw: Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial (from a far), Washington Monument, The White House, World War Two memorial, World War One memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and many other sculptures along the way that Erika commented on the symbolism and history of.

We wanted to do a Segway tour of DC and found this company, as the previous company I've done this with went out of business. I would recommend Capital Segway Tours to anyone looking to visit the majority of the Washington D.C. landmarks quickly, in a fun way with a guide to provide history and context to what you are seeing. The Segway equipment is well maintained and the guides are top-notch!

We booked our tour for 7:30 pm knowing that towards the end, the lights on the sights would make it even that much more special. It had been 10 years since we had been in DC and only had one day to visit, so we decided on a segway tour to see the most as easily as we could. We have taken many segway tours in many cities and by far enjoy seeing the sights this way!

John was a great tour guide and gave such personal attention to us, all the while, highlighting places on the tour, but also asking if there were any sights or information we wanted him to touch on. Your tour is only as good as your guide, and our guide was excellent!!

I cannot emphasise enough how enjoyable riding a segway is. The headset allows you to hear the guide and take in all the sights along the way. If you haven't segwayed, you have to! We have been hooked for awhile (and if we can do it at 52 years old, you can, too.)

Capital Segway is a class act and very affordable and enjoyable way to see DC.

A little apprehensive going into this thing but they train you up, spend a bit of time one on one and start slow.

The actual tour is great, we went past all the monuments from the White House to the Lincoln memorial and all the way around the Washington monument.

The Segway machine is quite fun and easy to learn. We had about 15 people and nobody crashed or fell over or any of that.

The tour guides are fun and easy going and they clearly have chosen the best path they the City that is safe and easy on a Segway.

I booked this tour with some work friends and we had an absolute blast. The Segways were easier to use than I thought they would be, but more importantly, our two guides were beyond great. They lead us around DC and were full of historical knowledge and fun facts that made the trip ore interesting. We would do this again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this to anyone as a way better means of seeing the city.

I was excited to book this tour with Capital Segway. I had never ridden one before but my husband had. He told me I could so we booked the tour. After arriving at the meeting spot and receiving a few minutes of practice led by our guide Chris I felt comfortable and ready to take on the sidewalks of DC. The tour itself was spectacular. Seeing all the historical places and monuments up close was a beautiful experience. It was so much fun! Our guide was full of information and lots of good humor. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience seeing all the big sites up close in only two hours.

The Segway tour was terrific! I always wanted to try it. The Segways are easy to operate and every bit as fun to ride as they look! My husband, 73, and I, 71, had no trouble learning as they give you excellent training right in the office building.
The tour was two hours with time to take pictures, (or guides Ryan and Erica took them of you). We had one 15 minute stop at the Lincoln Memorial. We all wore an earphone, that worked well, to hear the constant narration.
I was a bit disappointed that time didn’t allow us to go past all the museums as I was hoping for a bit of a review as we passed…we concentrated on the western end of the mall.
Remember… although you are not pedaling or working hard during the tour, it still is two plus hours of standing on the Segway. We were surprised that we were a bit tired after it was over.
The price seemed just right for what you got… $65 each ( plus tip… don’t forget the tip!)

This Segway tour was awesome. Alex was informative, funny, thorough, and so knowledgeable about the area. We saw all the important sites and learned quite a lot about all of them. Alex had safety on his mind and we all felt safe while riding through the traffic areas of the city. We learn so much and had so much fun by learning.
