See Washington DC lit up at night on this guided bus tour. You’ll drive by and stop at some of the city’s top memorials and attractions, including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial, which are usually less crowded after dark. With transportation and navigation taken care of, all you have to do is sit back, relax, and sightsee.

What to Expect

Your Washington DC tour starts when you meet at the US Navy Memorial at least 15 minutes before your departure time. After you’ve checked in with your guide, hop aboard a comfortable coach bus for your guided tour.

As you tour DC at night, you’ll pass by landmarks in the US capital and take in sights of monuments and buildings brilliantly lit up. Some of the main attractions visited during this tour include the Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Tidal Basin.

Your bus stops at some of the attractions where your guide leads the way and tells you about the history associated with each. These usually popular points of interest tend to be less busy at night, allowing you time and space to contemplate in peace.

This tour ends with a drop-off at the departure point.

The museum is quite well done and surprising for such a new museum. I immediately found so many items and people to research further. Very stimulating place!

We didn’t go on the day tour but would think the tours are similar- the night tour had a different look with all of the lights shining on the memorials.

They take you in a Bus and then you get off at different strategic points to see the Monuments. You get to walk on most of them. Sometimes you walk 15 min non-stop. In all cases the guide tells you what to expect, kind of... More
