What to Expect
For this Gettysburg tour, head to Washington DC’s Union Station to board a comfortable coach bus. Settle into your seat for a scenic ride through Maryland and Pennsylvania to the Civil War battlefield. While you travel, listen to your guide’s engaging commentary about the background of the famous Battle of Gettysburg. Once you arrive at the site, stop first at Shriver House to view a experience a living museum. Take a break for lunch independently (at your own expense) before continuing your tour at the battlefield itself. At the Gettysburg National Military Park, spend time exploring on your own. Take in the film about the battle, and peruse the various exhibits before a tour of the Battlefield. After a full day of history, get dropped back off at Union Station.

Excellent tour. It takes all day because of the distance involved, but it is a great first tour of Gettysburg. It is a great overview of what happened at the battle of 3 days. Highly recommend it if you are not a history buff.
