This experience was amazing. Even though if you've already visited the monuments I would still recommend you this plan because it gives you a whole different perspective of the city and with extra information about each monument than if you just go by yourself. Our guide Beth was kind and knew the ropes about the history and fun facts.

If you're doing this in fall or winter I would highly recommend you to bring some gloves because your hands may feel like freezing.

We had a great tour. A couple small hiccups where bikes in the group had technical issues early on, but after that we really enjoyed it. Our guide was great and answered lots of questions and we felt we had the time we needed to see the monuments. It's an easy bike ride.

Shop is easily assessable. Bikes were of good quality and condition. Our guide, CJ, was friendly and knowledgeable of both the bikes and tour stops. Great way to see the sites and exercise. The approximate 4 mile circuit was reasonably flat and made for a good ride. Electric bikes are available for an up charge, but really not need for this tour. Highly recommend this tour and vendor.

It was great to be able to visit these sights at night when it was less crowded. The tour guides were knowledgeable and gave the group plenty of time to explore each site. Some of the biking sections were rather difficult in the dark because the lights on my bike weren't bright enough.

A family of four on college visits in DC. It was the first time visiting DC for our daughters (aged 16&20) and a guided sunset bike tour allowed us to cover a lot of monuments, spend some time outdoors and learn about the landmarks. Loved having it start late as it was cooler and you get a range of photos from day to sunset to night photos. Only con is that it’s hard to find somewhere to eat afterwards as the tour finishes at 9.30pm and most things are closed or closing around L’enfant Plaza by that time.

Itinerary of tour was great, so much more efficient than walking, and fun too. Glad to see all the monuments, though in the evening they are packed with bus tour groups (no fault of the bike tour). Good amount of time to take pictures at each stop. Appreciated the matching of each person to an appropriate bike, including my 10 year old.

We’re a family of 5, including kids age 10 and 12, and grandma age 63. It was a nice leisurely pace, and the bike seats were comfy. Getting to see so many of the monuments and memorials in one evening was awesome. They gave each of us a bottled water to carry in a little pouch on the front of the bike, which was much appreciated because it was very hot and humid. There were water fountains at some of the stops to refill the water bottles. Overall, a great time. The World War 2 Memorial was the surprise of the trip. It was beautiful, especially lit up at night.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because our tour guide seemed very new and unsure of herself. She was very nice, and did her job, but wasn’t the energetic, entertaining tour guide I’m accustomed to.
We wished we would have brought bug spray!

Paula the tour guide was wonderful! However, this bike tour was very unsafe. Lights were given to about 25% of the riders. They didn’t fit the bikes properly. We did not have reflection vests as described in the tour. As a cyclist there were so many things on this tour that I would never do —including ride in the dark. The owner needs to consider basic safety measures. Including giving your tour guide a proper well lit uniform.

Great experience! I'd been concerned by the review that said they did not provide enough lights or safety vests, but in our group every single rider was given a front light and a safety vest (seemingly brand new straight of the box, so maybe they ordered more). Back lights would be a great addition for riding in the dark. Our tour guide, Ren, was great: knowledgeable, funny, energetic, charismatic. We requested a tandem bike for our 10 year old and were glad we did -- riding at high speed in the dark would have been challenging for her on her own. Overall a great experience for our family of four (10, 14, and two parents)!

Dominick was a great guide. We went from the Mall to the Tidal Basin and back to the bike shop. We saw a ton of sights. The pace was great and Dominick was full of great information on the history and significance of each sight. I know this is also offered during the day, but seeing them all lit up at night was beautiful
