Wonderful dive sites with friendly divemasters to guide small groups to the best places and make sure everything is done to the highest safety standards. After two dives you enjoy a lovely hot lasagne lunch while enjoying the view of Rottnest's beautiful coastline before setting off back to the mainland. There were 20 of us out there for a fun day on the water, with floaties and great weather. The crew cooked us up a bbq and monitored our food to ensure we had a great time. The boat was perfect size for us at 12ppl, nice and smooth journey no one got seasick. The sealions were all out swimming with us, the water was perfect we couldnt have asked for a better day! I would recommend instructor Claire to anyone wanting to learn how to dive, she provided such a safe space for fears and helped me tap into courage with her presence and guidance, I am not convinced I would have been able to trust and surrender the way I did without her. Mel is a really good instructor, she gives you confidence, make sure you get all the information. Whilst on a flying visit to Perth I booked up to do two dives at Rottnest Island with Kate and Antonio. The communication when I was booking my trip was excellent and very easy to make the booking online. All the instructions and kit hire was also easy. Kate and Antonio run a very professional and punctual service. As an experienced diver having been diving for over 25 years and having been on many dive boats, I can say that Bucket List Divers run a great operation. The kit I hired was all in great condition and obviously taken care of. There were safety briefings before we left the jetty in Fremantle and then thorough dive briefings before each of our two dives when at Rottnest. Antonio also checked everyone was back on the boat at the end of the dive and I saw Kate (who was our dive guide on both dives) checking on the divers under her care numerous times during the dives. So in short for safety and professionalism these guys are as good as you would get. The boat was fine and even though relatively small it never felt cramped or crowded, even though the trip was fully booked. There is a shower and toilet on the boat and water, hot drinks and a hot lunch were included in the trip. With hired scuba gear the two dive trip cost AUD295 all in (GB£152). As for the diving itself we did 'Crystal Palace' for our first dive and the 'Miwok Barge' for our second dive. The water temperature was 23-24'C on both dives and visibility was around 12m. On the first dive there was quite a severe surge underwater which did make for less than perfect diving conditions and certainly took the edge off the dive for me. There was quite a bit of fish-life but still not as much as I had expected. The second dive site in my opinion was very poor. Whilst the surge was less there were very few fish and we just seemed to go back and forth over the same area of seaweed covered sandy seabed at 11m. The barge wreck was basically non-existent and we ended the dive at 50 minutes and I came back to the boat with 130 Bar left. Whilst Kate and Antonio obviously can't change sea conditions, or the amount or type of life seen on a dive, they do make the call on which dive site to visit and I think this site was a poor choice. I did not feel the second dive was good value, it felt like we were just ticking the box of doing a second dive. All in all I am glad I dived at Rottnest even though the dives did not live up to the expectations I had having done plenty of research before I booked the trip. I am also glad I went with Bucket List Divers as they were excellent. The only reason I have not given a 5/5 rating is because of my honest comments about the choice of dive site for the second dive, and the fact it felt like we were just going through the motions on that dive. We left the jetty at 7am and returned at 1:30pm.

Sadly the weather on the day wasn't great so we were super limited on where we could dive. We chose the most appropriate dive site with the weather conditions. Unfortunately the weather gods weren't on our side that day. We would love to see you again hopefully with better conditions.

The team were experienced, friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure that you were personally comfortable with what was happening at all times. The diving was great and adjusted to the weather conditions.

Fantastic day diving with bucket list. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a dive course or recreational dive out of Perth. What sets them apart? Kate and Antoni are passionate divers who do their best to make your experience awesome and they have a max of 6 divers on the boat. I have completed a number of shore and boat dives with the bucket list team and can't rate them highly enough.

After traveling from the other side of the country, Bucket list diver saved they day when my planned dive trip with a different major Perth company went to crap. Diving with Bucket list divers allowed me to dive Rottnest island when otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to.
They were able to accommodate me last minute (less than 24 hours notice) and provide all required equipment. They were extremely responsive to my calls and texts; contrasted to the 9+ days I have been waiting for the competition.
The lunch provided was incredibly delicious, lasagna, and french salad; my local dive shop needs to up their game!
Their gear was new, modern and well maintained.
Both dives were really enjoyable but i particularly enjoyed crystal palace where we saw two types of sharks, a very large stingray, octopus, some type of shrimp and lots and lots of fish.
As a semi experienced rookie diver (70+ dives) it was wonderful to see the fun and enjoyment the recently qualified divers had, as well as the care and finesse bucket list diver provided to these guys to ensure they had a stress free dive. I would definitely dive with these guys again if I didn’t live 3000km away.

It was such an amazing experience, I had Meg C (megladon) as my instructor and she was amazing, she made sure i was confident in everything I was doing and was honestly a lad, would recommend 100% you wouldn’t regret it. We were blessed with good weather and visibility during our trip out to Rottnest. The crew were hospitable and Antoni offered a rashie for my husband and myself when he learnt we were more accustomed to diving in tropical waters. Lots of marine life underwater and we spotted a wobbergong shark, crayfishes and a huge pod of dolphins where our boat anchored. Hot food for lunch was a bonus, and vegetarian options were available.
This is probably the only tour operator in Perth with full service on board. Most have a shop front requiring you to collect your gear the day before and lug it to the boat. So I guess having a one-stop experience is great if you're tourist.
I did find that space was quite tight on the boat, possibly because there were 11 divers and 3 crew, and not 8 divers as advertised. Otherwise, the whole experience was great and I'd love to dive with them again.

I couldn’t rate Kate and Antoni any higher- 500% recommend bucket list diver. I’ve dove with them at Rotto, Halls Bank and ladies dive mornings .
I have always found them to be very professional and caring. Having the guides is a great help, they always are very knowledgeable of the dive sites and have excellent safety.
And the lunch was pretty good too. Thanks so much for all you both do and all the staff do as well.

What I really enjoyed about Bucklist is the how small and intimate the experience was. I was a little apprehensive about heading out by myself, but was pleasantly surprised that there was a dive buddy already planned to be buddied up with me.

I love going to Rottnest with Bucket List Diver.
Years back I did my Open Water Course with them, loved it and went on to do my Advance. Kate and Antoni are patient, knowledgeable and passionate divers and instructors who I couldn't recommend more.
I've know been on the double dive to Rottnest with them multiple times and will continue to do so. They pick the best sites considering the weather (I'm lucky enough to have been to Shark Cave 3 times), the facilities on the boat are brilliant and the food is always good.
Highly recommend Bucket List Diver for anything course or dive related.

Can only highly recommend Bucket List Divers, I was made welcome from start to finish and felt I was in good hands. With only 6 other divers onboard it was very intimate. I will certainly make them my dive company of choice. Thank you Bucket List Divers for a wonderful diving experience.
