I can not recommend this class enough. This is exactly the kind of authentic local experience that we are always looking for as tourists, but which are so difficult to find unless you know a local. Maria was very welcoming and generous in sharing local and family stories which added to the experience immensely. It really was like being invited into someones home and taught to make their cherished family recipes. This was by far one of my most favorite travel experiences.

After finding it somewhat difficult to find activities in Warsaw we stumbled upon Pierogi & More. The class is a little out of the centre but we had no worries getting a cheap taxi ride to the venue. Afterwards we took a short walk to the Old Town which is definitely also worth a visit.
Maria was a very polite and approachable host. She had taken the necessary steps to ensure we were safe from any potential COVID-19 hazard, which included limiting the class to just the two of us. This made the class even more personal and relaxed.
After hearing a bit about the Polish culture and origins of the drink we were to be making we got straight in, learning more interesting facts and traditions along the way. The process was very simple, especially when following Maria's clear instructions, there's definitely no need to doubt your ability. We even plan to make some more liqueurs at home using the recipes that were provided after the class.
Above our expectations, Maria was very helpful in providing a list of recommended sights to pack into the rest of our stay. She also took plenty of pictures during the class which were shared with us shortly afterwards.
Thanks for entertaining us and providing us with some great memories to take away!
