This was an amazing tour that kept my 2 teenage sons enthralled for 4 hours, no sneaking a look at their phones at all!! Honza (Jack) was an amazing tour guide, the subject matter is incredible anyway but he told it in a way that was both informative and sensitive. For anyone wanting to understand how the Czechs suffered in the 2nd world war must take this tour as it really brings the subject matter to life. We were so lucky to be the only people on this tour and had Honza’s full attention and could ask as many questions as we liked. He was patient but also showed real interest on what my sons had to say. Total 5 star tour and the best we have been in as a family!!! 2 beers for Honza!!!

Mike was a brilliant tour guide, his knowledge was outstanding and made our few hours together fly by. You will learn so much that would be left undiscovered without doing the tour. As well as giving us all the information and taking us to the sites Mike shared WW2 interests such as books and films which was above and beyond what we were expecting. You won’t be disappointed. We cannot praise Mike enough, he really looked after us.

My husband and I took this tour on a recent visit to Prague. As we were the only two booked on to the tour, we had our wonderful tour guide, Honza to ourselves and with his excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject we had a fantastic afternoon learning all about Operation Anthropoid and various details about World War 2 and it's impact on the Czech people. We could not have had a better guide who was patient and took time to answer our questions fully and gave us adequate time to look around the church and crypt. If you are interested in this type of tour it is definitely worth going and seeing the sights for yourself. (If you have seen the film, Anthropoid beforehand being in the actual area will seem surreal - and quite emotional ) Thanks Honza!!!!!

Bought as a birthday present for my partner on our holiday and I can honestly say it more than exceeded expectations. Our tour guide Michal was fantastic; he was helpful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgable (especially considering our own keen interest in history) and the whole tour was entertaining as well as profound. I cannot recommend it well enough.

My father and I were in Prague for a short two days and were looking to get a lay of the land as well as educate ourselves on the history and perhaps some of the everyday culture. We took the WW2-Communism tour with Honza and he weaved stories with specific heroes and foes along with major events happening in the past. Along the way, we also learned a bit about our guide, which for us was interesting as we do not encounter Czech people everyday where we are from. He was friendly and seemed to know his stuff. He readily recommended many other interesting activities, sites and movies for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Prague's history and place a bit more as well as to have a comfortable walk through the main parts of town with an informative guide.

A fantastic afternoon in Prague spent touring the key sights and events of WW2 . Michal our tour guide was superb. Very engaging and extremely knowledgeable about Prague and it's history. He really brought the experience to life and some of the events he described really resonated among our small group in terms of what this city and it's people experienced during WW2. Michal answered any and all questions asked and indeed it felt that you were actually being shown round by a friend rather than a guide. A thoroughly excellent afternoon spent with a brilliant tour guide. The highlight for me was Sty Cyrils and the Crypt where the Czech Paratroopers involved in operation Anthropoid took refuge and made their final stand. A very moving and thoroughly absorbing experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour and certainly Michal as a guide who made the experience so good.

An excellent tour and guide With John . So informative and gave us a really good on-site into the war in Prague. The high light being the Hindrick story. We felt he personalised it for us and was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of history adding lots of stories as we passed by different places. Would defiantly recommend it.

Martin was an excellent guide and bubbly. His length of knowledge on the Czech Republic is vast. Martin was also a funny man with good sense of humour which made the tour amazing. I definitely recommend him as a guide as you will not be getting bored.

His knowledge on the history and entirety was outstanding. When I come again I will come again to have Martin as the guide.

Myself and my daughter took with tour with Jan (John - I hope I spelled it right!). He was a wonderful tour guide. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and quite passionate about his job. Jan was also fluent in English (we had some bad tour experience in Nuremberg - https://www.viator.com/tours/Nuremberg/Nuremberg-WWII-Courtroom-600-and-3rd-Reich-sites/d5628-127248P7 that sold us English language tour but the Brazilian guide does not actually speak English to communicate with the tourists – and I am NOT talking about accent here).

Jan started nicely with an introduction of the history of Bohemia and then history of Czechoslovakia before the war and then enlightened us about the Nazi Czechoslovakia. We learned a lot– Sudeten land, Czech resistance, and mission Anthropoid! He also purchased a tram ticket for us so we could reduce walking a little bit (which was very helpful for me) and even took us to a lovely restaurant for an afternoon drink. We constantly talked learning about Czech Republic and he carefully answered all our questions! If you are interested in learning about WWII history, I definitely recommend this walking tour!
