First we misinterpreted our tour date and showed up a day early, but since the tour that day wasn't full they accommodated us and added us. The tour concentrates on local establishments which are places the locals frequent and don't see much tourism. Most people on the tour were American but we met a wonderful couple from Scotland (love their accent). The beer was great, the food was great, the company was great, and it was well a orchestrated tour. You do have to do some walking (duh) though it is basically sidewalk and level so shouldn't be much of a challenge for most people, older folks in not so good shape might find it somewhat challenging (my wife), however at the end of the night our host Adam happily helped us arrange a taxi back to our hotel to save my wife further suffering.

Probably the best beer and food tour I've ever been on! My tour guide Tomas was great and I like that he brought us to the places he thought were best/showcased the best of Prague! (Meaning that no 2 tours are ever the same!) I went on a solo weekend trip and it was nice because the group I was in was relatively small; it had couples but also other solo travellers. It was great to experience Prague this way and to meet amazing new people. Tomas was very welcoming and taught us about the culture and people of Prague! We tried all different kinds of tapas and different selections of beer. It was one of the best experiences I've had while travelling and I will definitely recommend this tour (and tour guide) to my family and friends!

I went on this tour mainly because my partner loves beer... however I was very surprised at how much I loved the tour also!
Adam was an excellent guide and we navigated the train and tram system along the way with him (something we wouldn’t have done otherwise!).
The beer was excellent and all the food was authentic and very tasty! We only had four people on our tour & had a lovely time, would highly recommend for people wanting an evening tour with a few beers along the way....
Beers, food and guide all 5/5 !! 😊

What a fantastic experience for a first-time visit to Prague. This was one of the first beer tours that went ahead post-lockdown, and being only a party of two (these events usually have a maximum of ten people) we couldn't have felt more accommodated throughout our experience.
Lukas was a fantastic host who, on top of his passionate and informed tour of the best bars in Prague, was a superb guide to the entire city for a first-timer. The drinking spots we went to were incredible and the selection of beers very diverse. As someone who isn't the exactly a beer connoisseur, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone so passionate about his job that it made us all the more excited to try even more places. The tapas selection was delicious and great for anyone keen to get a taste for some of the authentic Czech food.
After the tour, Mr Lukas even sent me a selection of cool bars to go to for our last night in the city.
10/10 experience.

If you're interested in good beer, good food and good people I can't recommend enough. I used the company previously, both times my highlight in Prague. Trying some really great beers from new and small breweries in corners you just wouldn't find on your own.
Our host Vojtěch was really helpful and great company and went out of his to way recommend other places after our tour was over: that insight from a veteran is worth it on its own. Recommend doing early in your time so you can use that expertise to plan your meals and pub trips.

Went on the tour the evening we arrived, our guide, Lukas met us and was very friendly and informative while we waited fro the other customers. The first pub was near near the start point where Lukas gave us an insight int Czech beers and brewing, after this we hopped onto a tram and went to the end of the line where there was a very interesting pub and our first tapas. we then made our way back to the start, stopping at three more pubs along the way.
Our group was small so it was very friendly and Lukas couldn't have been more helpful and fun if he had tried.
Definitely recommend this tour whether you're travelling singly or couple.
The beers and food were all first class.

The Beer and Czech Tapas tour was a wonderful way to kick off our 5 days in Prague. Guillaume (Will) was a great guide who took us to 4 of his favorite places. All totally different and a little off the beaten path. Was a great way to experience some gems we wouldn’t have otherwise. He was so personable and did a great job of educating putting the group at ease. He also had great tips on things to do (and skip) in the city. I highly recommend this tour especially as a way to kick off a trip in this beautiful city!

Lukas was very informative, engaging and excited by his work. His passion really came through. We walked and got the tram to more local parts of Prague, not the tourist areas. We went to bars the locals use and saw breweries too. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of beer. It was definitely worth the money to get a true taste of Prague and it's culture. I really enjoyed myself.

Would like to book this tour as a family but our son will be 5 months short of being 18 years old. May he taste the beers being under supervision of his parents?

One of our group has celiac disease. Can she get wine instead of beer and are any of the tapas gluten-free?

Hi,
I’m sure much of what we had was gluten free. There were a lot of things to snack on. As far as wine goes - yes. My wife drank one beer and switched to wine. ( no extra charge!). Really enjoyed the experience.
Hi there, we travel with a friendly and well-trained huntingdog - may he accompany us on this trip? Thank you!

You'll need to contact Prague Urban Adventures, the operators of the tour. The operators rarely respond to questions on the questions forum.

Hello! we consider this trip, but I am not so fond of beer. Can I get wine instead?
Lauren B

Yes you can. I can't vouch for the quality of the wine, but my stepfather doesn't drink beer and he was able to be accommodated with wine. I can't say for definite if they can give you wine at all of the four stops. Probably. You may want to try a few beers though they are very nice.

What time does the tour generally start?
Is the tapas sufficient for an evening meal?
How many people are in a tour?
Many thanks 🙂

The tour started at 5:00. The tapas are sufficient for a light meal, but not a heavy meal. There were 8 people on our tour.

Hi. Do you accommodate for food allergies? I am allergic to all fish and seafood

From my recollection, there were no fish or seafood. You go to multiple bars and the menu is different in each one, so just make it known to your guide and he/she will steer you clear of anything that may be an issue.
