    What to Expect

We meet at Elanda Point in the National Park kayak launch site and we settle you into your kayak, showing you the map and teaching you all the basic skills for an enjoyable paddle across Lake Cootharaba to Kinaba. From here, you are free to explore where you want within the Noosa Everglades. Explore up the lesser-paddled waters of Kin Kin Creek or enjoy the company of the mighty Noosa River and weave in and out of the small islands which dot the northern reaches of Fig Tree Lake. Test your paddling stamina and head up to the iconic Harry’s Hut for a swim in the tea coloured waters, or perhaps you plan to use the kayak to get to a wilder bush walking track within the Cooloola Recreation Area. Your possibilities are endless!

Did the self guided tour and it was really nice! You get detailed instructions about the boat and the tour from a guide at the beginning. So later it was easy for us to stay on track and finish everything we wanted to see in time. Nature out there is awsome, saw lots of birds

Absolutely loved this kayaking tour. We booked a self guided one but due to the recent bush fires, we had to have a guide with us. Vivienne was wonderful, explained how to operate the kayaks perfectly and we all felt confident with her taking us out across the lake and through

For someone who hadn't done kayaking before, I'm really glad I chose this place and Kanu Kapers Australia for the experience. Yes, the kayaking sure does gets tiring but the calm in the waters, the beautiful views, the chirping of the birds, the gentle waves, all of it was just
