After meeting your guide, travel a short distance to Biggera Waters where your kayaks will be waiting ready for your departure. If you’ve never kayaked before, your guide will give you a demonstration and will help you along the way. Paddle approximately 30-minutes across the ocean towards Wave Break Island. Make sure to keep a lookout for the local marine life including dolphins, stingrays and turtles.
Wave Break Island is a stunning man-made island built to protect the western foreshore and is now home to many iconic Australian animals. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Australian wallaby as you take a short 10-minute bush-walk across the island to a picturesque location perfect for snorkeling.
Here you’ll spend approximately 30-minutes exploring the islands incredible reef, home to hundreds of tropical fish and a wide variety of marine fauna. If you’ve got one, make sure to bring your underwater camera as the marine life is simply breathtaking.
Once you’ve explored the reef, stop for a delicious snack and beverage as you take in the picturesque surrounding views before heading back to Biggera Waters.
