What to Expect

  • 3hr round trip including return transport into Skippers Canyon on the infamous Skippers Road and a thrilling jet boat ride in the dramatic canyons of the upper Shotover River.

Great jetboat ride

We chose Skipper's for the bus ride out to the river, which is spectacular in itself. The staff were all friendly and our bus driver Robbie was a pleasure and very knowledgeable. The jet boat part was also great and afforded spectacular scenery. Highly recommend.

Makes a big difference which bus driver you get

It is a 3 hour return trip from Queenstown. November is in the summer so the sun sets around 9 pm so there will be plenty of light on both tours.
