We had an absolutely lovely experience with Nicole and Crater Rim Walks and would recommend it to everyone else without hesitation. The planning was easy, communication in advance was very good, and our actual day was wonderful. Nicole was a fun and knowledgeable guide, and a kind and enjoyable person to spend a few hours with. The walk itself was BEAUTIFUL and felt like a good workout without being too challenging. We learned a lot, took many pictures, had a good snack/water break, and made some great memories. If you’re looking for a chance to get outside of the city and have some time in the fresh air amid some truly breathtaking landscapes, then this is for you. It couldn’t have been easier or better!

Nicole was a fantastic guide and all 3 of us had a wonderful time. Our 4th person had to cancel because of an injury, and we had no trouble at all with the cancellation. Nicole was very accommodating when we were running earlier, and very knowledgable during the hike. Would do again and strongly recommend!

Very well guided tour in the volcanic hills at the coast visiting the beautiful bays. Lot of information on the history of local subjects and hallmarks such as the huts, nesting places for pinguïns, town history…

We had a great half day walk with Nicole as our guide. We did the Godley Head Loop Track. The views were amazing. Nicole was excellent and shared insights. She was very flexible with pace.

Wanted to venture into some nature and needed some exercise after eating our way through NZ, Nicole made this adventure so magical and relaxing. So knowledgeable about the history and culture of Christchurch & NZ. Highly recommended- one of our highlights of our entire trip. The views and fresh-air are top rate! Must See adventure! Wow! Highly recommend this half day hike! Nicole was amazing. Everything was well organized and as a solo traveler I felt included in the group. The views are amazing!

The walk was amazing through gorgeous mountain top area with spectacular views of the Pacific coastline. nicole was awesome providing lots of local history as well as walking sticks, bottles of water and snacks. Highly recommended if you are in the Christchurch area and want to explore the surrounding landscape, get some exercise and fresh air!!

Our Crater Rim walk with Nicole was awesome. The views are spectacular, her knowledge of the trail and the history of Christchurch was great to learn. She supplied everything needed to complete the walk such as backpack, poles, and snacks! Would absolutely do another walk with her company again.

Nicole from Crater Rim Walks lead us through the most beautiful guided tour of Godley Head just outside of Christchurch. A beautiful lunch and snacks were provided along with lots of lovely stops along the way to talk us through this history of relics and the natural surroundings. Highly recommended!!

The most spectacular and enjoyable Walk/Hike round the beautiful Crater rim. Hosted by Nicole who was incredibly professional, kind and considerate as well as being a font of knowledge about local history, the Geographic rock formations and local wild life. Starting with a lovely coffee and brief description of the walk , we did a long hike in very manageable stretches at our own pace with a brief snack break and lovely picnic lunch , prepared and supplied by the company. The provision of walking poles and complimentary Drinks flask were most welcome and appreciated. Couldn’t praise highly enough.
