About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- marysU209QB0 contributionsAn amazing experience to remember.I did this 6-day one- way trip Feb 14-19, 2025 with guide/driver/chef Geoff. Despite the long driving days there were plenty of stops for comfort breaks, snacks, and to visit the many amazing sites along the way. Geoff worked extremely hard to ensure that we all had the best experience possible and went out of his way to accommodate individual dietary restrictions and wishlist experiences ( in my case turtle nesting/hatching). It was an amazing experience and the Ningaloo snorkeling trip was out of this world - we got to swim with huge manta rays and observed them "barrel rolling" while feeding right beside us. This was far better than my experience on the Great Barrier Reef. A trip to remember with the best guide❤️Written February 25, 2025
- mariedJ827WA0 contributionsA fabulous trip with GeoffreyBonjour. What a wonderful and amazing way to explore the costal coast. Our tour guide Geoff did his most to make the trip very pleasant for everyone. He is a incredible tour guide. I enjoy his knowledge, his good sense of humor, his kindness, his energy and he was very helpful with me. You can feel his passion for travel and he took us to extra spots to be sure that we have the Best experiences possible. It's difficult to say what part of the trip was the Best. I loved this tour from the beginning to the end, the places we went where absolutly beautiful. Turtles Mother nesting and turtles hatchling was the best for me. I recommand this tour with autopia. Everything were wel organisée. Merci beaucoup Geoff for having make this trip so wonderful. Your are a great tour guide. C'est la vie.Written February 23, 2025
- kathrinp8030 contributionsAmazing tour along the west coast of Australia!I had the most amazing time on this tour along the west coast of Australia! I met so many lovely people and saw beautiful beaches, canyons and so much wildlife! We were really lucky to be able to swim with mantas, see dolphins, turtles and even sharks. Our tour guide Geoff did an amazing job and was really trying his best to give us the best experience possible. Thank you, Geoff! Just keep in mind that there is a huge amount of driving - so if you can book, book the 10-day tour. All in all, it was definitely worth it! 😍Written February 23, 2025
- BethanyS6760 contributionsA magical tour with once in a lifetime experiencesI’ve done a lot of tours during my travels around the world but this tour is the best I’ve done. It was made so special by the wildlife encounters that we had which were so lucky. This trip ticked off many bucket list moments for me including seeing dolphins at Monkey Mia, swimming with Manta Rays at Ningaloo reef and watching turtle hatchlings leave their nest and make their way to the sea for the first time. It was a magical trip all made possible by our amazing guide Geoff. Geoff is an incredible tour guide and a truly lovely human. Geoff worked so hard to make the trip the best example for everyone. Nothing was too much for him and you can tell that he wants to provide the best tour for you. It was a pleasure to be on his tour and one of the best experiences of my six months travels. The only thing I would point out to anyone booking this trip is that it is a lot of travelling to do in a week and you spend a lot of time on the bus. If you have the time I’d suggest taking two weeks to do the distance but if you only have a week to explore the west coast then this tour is perfect. Thank you Geoff for the trip of a life time!Written February 20, 2025
- R1970OKcarlas0 contributionsAmazing weekI had one of the most exciting and adventurous weeks of my life! Geoff was a great tour guide, he made sure we had a great time at all times and you could genuinely see how much he enjoys his job. Thank you!!Written February 20, 2025
- S474OTkimb0 contributions10/10 recommendation - best tour I’ve ever done! This was one of the best tours I’ve ever done! We were lucky with an incredible group of people, which made the trip amazing. Besides that, the activities we did and the places we saw were so beautiful - literally breathtaking! Include an enormous amount of wildlife (dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles etc.) to that and the best tourguides ever (Doug and Monty) and you have a recipe for the best week of my whole time of traveling in Australia! I was sad it was over and wish it would’ve lasted longer. The drives are long, but with the entertainment, knowledge and planning of the tourguides was this no problem at all. 10/10 recommendation!!!Written February 15, 2025
- Christine N0 contributionsWe highly recommend this tour company .Geoffrey was our driver and guide on this tour.He was excellent and went out of his way to make sure we got the most out of the experience. He had great knowledge of the places visited but did not overwhelm us with too much information. The whole tour was very well planned and we saw lots of wildlife ,beautiful beaches and wonderful countryside in the national parks.Monkey Mia was a highlight with emus wandering freely around the accommodation. Autopia are a great travel company. A couple of major issues , completely outside their control arose during the trip and they dealt with them both brilliantly. A special thanks to Gus who drove overnight from Perth to Kalbarri with a replacement van and trailer to make sure we continued our journey with minimum disruption. We were the eldest in the group by about 30 years and the only couple but we were made very welcome.Preparing meals together was great fun, We would have no hesitation in recommending this tour to others nor to recommending Autopia and Geoffrey as a wonderful guide.Written February 11, 2025

With Geoff as the best guide ever possible my expectations were more than exceeded in every way!!! 🫶 Thanks for the most incredible, estonishing and awesome trip along the coast of WA! Thanks for all your long, early, late but always safe driving! Thanks for all the delicious meals and growing together while cooking and cleaning and loading the trailer. Thanks for all the well timed toilet stops, Wooly-stops and the stops at the important typical roadsigns along the way. Thanks for always and everytime caring for everyone and everyones needs. Thanks for all the most wonderful and amazing places we got to see and every Extramile to offer us more stunning moments! Thanks for your spontanousely change of plans due to the cyclone to keep us save but still offer us as many and more once-in-a-lifetime-moments on top as well after the cyclone. - alicebY1135RB0 contributionsAutopia - Perth to Exmouth tour - incredible!!This was one of the best tours I’ve been on! Geoff was an absolute gem of a tour guide and went out of his way to make the trip unforgettable. His depth of knowledge was incredibly impressive and I really appreciate everything that he shared as it was wonderful to see how much joy these tours and this life brings him. We saw so much wildlife and such beautiful scenery, I am very much in love with Western Australia now. Would 100% recommend this tour (and Geoff!) to everyone. Also a big thank you to Gus! He also went well out of his way to make our stay even better!Written February 9, 2025
- D1991ZGlilyd0 contributionsMust do WA tour!I recently completed an unforgettable tour of Western Australia, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone eager to explore the stunning west coast. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and at ease from the very beginning, even in remote areas where I would have otherwise been hesitant to travel alone. This tour is the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of WA, with plenty of hidden gems that many tourists might miss. From breathtaking landscapes to a whole host of wildlife, Western Australia truly has so much to offer that this tour captured perfectly. A huge shoutout to our amazing tour guide, Geoff, who was so knowledgeable, endlessly kind, cheerful, and full of energy—he made the trip truly special. A special mention to Gus as well, who joined us briefly and shared his expertise. If you’re looking to explore WA in a safe and fulfilling way, this tour is a must!Written February 7, 2025
- M3418BSvictoriag0 contributionsA MUST do WA adventureI recently completed this tour with Autopia and had the most amazing time! Having just finished travelling the East Coast of Australia, I thought nothing could top it—but Western Australia is on another level! From start to finish, I felt completely safe and well taken care of, and I loved that this tour took us to hidden gems that many travellers might miss if exploring on their own. The itinerary was well-paced, breathtakingly scenic, and full of unforgettable experiences. A huge shoutout to Geoff, our guide, who truly made this trip exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure every moment was amazing, all while being a genuinely wonderful person. Also, a special mention to Gus, who joined us briefly— thank you for all your help and interesting facts about WA! If you’re considering exploring WA, don’t hesitate—book this tour.Written February 6, 2025
- 570rosiek0 contributionsThe best 7 days!Had the best time on the west coast. Geoff our tour guide was amazing. Very informative and always went the extra mile to make sure we would have the most memorable time. Loved all the stops we made up the coast. An experience I’ll never forget.Written January 25, 2025
- chrisfH9112TF0 contributionsBrilliant experience, even though the weather didn’t play ballI did this tour to experience the west coast of Australia, the nature, the wildlife and general beauty. This tour fulfilled that, although it wasn’t without a few hiccups. We got caught in a Cyclone in Coral Bay, meaning we unfortunately couldn’t dive the Ningaloo reef (which was a big attraction to book this tour). Our guide, Geoff, handled this situation expertly, moving the itinerary around, and providing the group with other activities from his wealth of knowledge. One of the highlights was watching sea turtles nesting in Exmouth, which was only possible because Geoff knew the right spots. The group itself were so friendly (all solo travellers), and we’ve made memories to last a lifetime on this trip.Written January 23, 2025
- oscarw6840 contributionsCan’t recommend enoughReally really amazing tour managed to fit so much in to such a little amount of time, feels like I saw almost all of Western Australia. The bus is not that comfy but it’s okay, Danny is such an amazing tour guide and is capable of being a good friend and very professional when he needs to be, very informative but at the same time feels like you are talking to a mate. There are regularly scheduled bathroom breaks on the longer bus journeys so there was always an opportunity to buy enough water and use the toilet Swimming with manta rays was an optional extra but I would absolutely recommend it they don’t charge enough it was incredible The hostels were hostels the quality varied but you get what you pay for, it was bearable, it was my first time ever in hostels and I’m not terrified of them now if that tells you anything Included food was mainly wraps during the day and then a group cooked meal at night, I’m a very picky eater and I never went hungry so I was impressed and surprised Overall could not recommend enough have already told all my friends and family it was one of the best holidays everWritten January 23, 2025

What an amazing experience. I would most certainly recommend this tour to anyone.
I booked this tour as a Christmas present for my immediate family. There were 10 of us in total with ages ranging from 74 to 9.
Claire was amazing from the time I enquired about the tour continuing through to the days following the tour. She was so helpful and was very accommodating to our needs.
Our tour started on Saturday the 28th of December 2024 when we were picked up at
my home at 1.45 and headed on our adventure.
Gavin our driver and tour guide was a very experienced driver and guide. His commentary was very informative, and even though we live in Western Australia, he was able to give us some facts that were new to us.
Our first stop was Lancelin where we were able to purchase some refreshments and then headed for the sand dunes. Everyone in my family had a fantastic time sand boarding down the dunes, so much so that we are still taking about it now.
From here we drove to the beach where we some relaxing time enjoying the coolness of the ocean and then made our way back to Lancelin and then onto the Pinnacles.
Even though some of us had been to the Pinnacles before we were totally amazed at how the landscape has changed.
We walked around the dunes taking photos, enjoying the view and waiting for the sun to set. Sunset was spectacular and well worth the wait.
Next it was time for our BBQ dinner and star gazing to begin.
The BBQ dinner was delicious and the salads were amazing. We all loved it.
It was hard to concentrate on star gazing with all the delicious food on offer but somehow we managed. Gavin was on the telescope pointing it in the right direction for us to get the best view whilst Don gave a running commentary. I cannot praise these two gentlemen enough, they really made our day so much better.
We arrived back home, totally exhausted after such a fantastic day, at 11.45pm.
I cannot thank Lumineer Adventure Tours enough for giving us such a wonderful experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is thinking of going on this adventure.
Thank you Claire, Gavin and Don you are all amazing

The tour was delightful from beginning to end, we were 15 individuals in a charming yet practical minibus (maybe the addition of headrests could enhance comfort during the journey). Our guide and driver, Sue, was exceptionally well-versed in the region’s natural history, sharing captivating tales of the area’s historical events. The mid-journey break was much appreciated, allowing us to savour watermelon, stretch, and take in the surrounding vistas. It was a wise decision to take us on preliminary bus tour of the Pinnacles, which gave us ample opportunity to capture photos and marvel at the stunning natural formations. The dinner was satisfying, offering a wide selection of dishes, though dining with a bit more daylight might have enhanced the experience. The stargazing segment was truly remarkable, thanks to the fortuitous absence of clouds. This is an experience I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in Perth!

Highlight of our visit to Perth. Brilliant trip which was made 5 star by our tour guide Sue. Her gift for storytelling and dry wit made the 2 hour journey in our air conditioned minibus very enjoyable with stops along the way, including the lovely Lancelin. The pinnacles national park was awe inspiring, expecially once I understood the history of how it was formed, thanks again to Sue. Just the right amount of free time to wander amongst the pinnacles before gathering as a group again for a splendid moonlit picnic and star gazing. Book the trip!

I cannot recommend this tour. The bus was old and uncomfortable and didn't provide any storage space for bags nor seat pockets. The first stop was at a gas station; one would expect the bus to be fueled before the tour starts. There was no water or anything provided on the bus. The stop at the Nilgen lookout didn't happen. The "tour guide" didn't provide any meaningful information. The "sunset dinner" consisted of cheap food from a supermarket and was served in a public seating area at the entrance of the park. (We saw other tours that came with picnic tables and chairs and sat among the pinnacles.) The stargazing didn't happen because of an overcast sky; I would have expected a more professional handling of the weather rather than just saying "let's go back to the bus". Overall, we paid US$118 for a bus ride worth US$20, food worth US$10 and entrance fee US$6. No good value for money.

Our guide/driver Emma did an outstanding job as our tour leader for this trip. She looked after everyone's needs and I commend her for her excellent driving skills through the pouring rain we encountered on our trip home.
We did enjoy our ten hour journey but there are a few things that the company could improve on.
The bus is very uncomfortable withnoleg room and there is no area to store back packs.
Advertising is misleading as we expected to have our dinner (which was delicious) surrounded by the pinnacles and not in a shelter near the car park. I realise this would require a lot more effort but from the advert one presumed that we did. The same for the stargazing.
Once again I give Emma 10 out of 10 for her informative knowledge. t The overall the tour only rates a 3 out of 5.

G'day,
Thank you for your feedback.
Firstly I'm really glad Emma was able to make such a good impact on your tour.
We are always looking to make improvements to our tour.
We would like to be able to offer dinner in the Pinnacles but unfortunately if there is any wind then our meals would get covered in sand.
We are sorry the tour was not what you were expecting.
Please contact us directly if you would ever like to travel with us again so we can help you out with a discount.
Kind regards,

It would be great if the itinerary can be updated and amended to be more accurate as a few stops did not materialized, notably Yanchep National Park and Hangover Bay. We spent 20 minutes at Lancelin lookout where we see the ocean and sand dunes from a distance. We did not go and explore the actual sand dunes which would probably needed the 60 minutes as stated in the itinerary.
Positives
We have a great guide and we enjoyed her hospitality and commentary. Our guide prepared a great picnic dinner for us too while we're at the Pinnacles. We did stopped at Nilgen Lookout but too bad there's no flowers as not in season. Pinnacles sunset experience was great, however a little bit of clouds at night so didn't get to do much stargazing. Our guide was a very safe driver and probably saved the overall tour experience for us.
Just update and amend the itinerary on your website and all's good. I would recommend if the itinerary was updated more accurately.

We had a wonderful tour guide by the name of Emma. She was very informative and answered all of our questions. We could not fault her. The tour itself however was average. They advertise that we go to the Niglen lookout however this is not the case. Instead, they take you to Wedge Lookout which really wasn't much to look at. The bus itself is a little outdated, and after a few hours sitting on the seats, let's just say things start to ache and hurt. We weren't blessed with the greatest of weather but Emma was amazing and did her best to set up the telescope when the clouds broke. The dinner was basic but I did enjoy it. It may not be to everyone's liking though especially for the price you pay for the tour.

My family and I went on the Pinnacles Sunset and Stargazing tour at the start of September and it was by far our favourite highlight of our trip.
We had Carlos as our guide and he was fantastic. Very knowledgable with his history. He was entertaining throughout the journey. He was on time with the pick-ups and everything went according to schedule.
When we got to the pinnacles, it was a sight to behold. Hundreds of them spaced away from each other in variant distances and with many different size and shapes.
Not long after, it was time for sunset and we had a perfect view of the horizon as the sun was setting down.
While we were busy being mesmerised with the view. Carlos was setting up a feast on his own, ready for us to enjoy once we return.
As it got darker, the stars started to appear and it was amazing. With very low light pollution in the area, we can see the stars and the milky way clearly.
Carlos explained some different star signs and told us stories associated with those star signs.
My family and I were lucky enough to be able to see a few shooting stars. My daughter was over the moon with the experience.
In conclusion, this is a trip I highly recommend. You get to learn a lot about the local area, meet with new people and many pictures to take. With guides as professional as Carlos, it make it that much more enjoyable!

Erin made the difference in what could have been just a long bus ride into a pleasant experience. Her knowledge, humor, personable-ness, and driving skills all translated into a fun, full experience. The Pinnacles themselves are magnificant. To experience them in a small-group setting was nice. Glad also we could dip a toe into the Indian Ocean - a bonus.

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Having a small group made such a difference. Our guide/driver, Laura, was excellent in that she provided knowledgeable commentary throughout the day but knew when to step back and leave us to our own devices. The ‘dinner’ was more of a picnic but very enjoyable consisting of cheese platter, cold meats and salads. Champagne was also provided. The stars were phenomenal.
