Barossa Valley never disappoints
Jun 2021 • Couples
There is so much to see in the Barossa, and having a knowledgeable tour guide is important. Joe was a font of knowledge, with many stories to tell, adding colour to the trip.  Seppeltsfield was the first winery; then Dell'uva for lunch; followed by Ubertas and rounding off with Chateau Tanunda. There was a short stop at the Barossa Cheese Factory to break things up. Joe added the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, before the journey back to Adelaide.

Seppeltsfield - the winery is vast and full of history. The wine tasting was a little disappointing with our host being softly spoken (which we did request her to speak louder), and made harder with English not being her first language.

Ubertas- more of a modern winery, which needs a little more experience to create a warm feeling.

Chateau Tanunda - lots of history and a super impressive winery. Just felt a little rushed with the wine tasting.

For us, the highlight was Dell'uva. The history; the unique processes; the family focus; and of course fantastic food and wine.

Well done Joe for organising a jammed packed day, and your stories throughout the day.

The best day out!
May 2021 • Friends
My best friend and I had the best time on the tour with Leanne. She told us about the history of wine making in SA and took us to some fantastic boutique wineries - each completely unique. Thankyou for a great day.

A wonderful day out
Apr 2021 • Friends
Huge thanks to Leanne for a wonderful day out. She is truly a credit to your company. She is warm, friendly and her knowledge and stories are wonderful.
We had a terrific day out and were rapt to be picked up right from our doorstep in Semaphore. Dell'uva wines was our favourite stop, we'd have been happy to stay there all day! We didn't love Z Wines, but we understand all palates vary!
We highly recommend this tour and will certainly consider taking interstate guests on it again.

So much yummy wine!
Leanne was a brilliant tour guide, such interesting history of the area, paired with copious glasses of top wine. Great pizzas from delluva, turtles at Maggie’s were amazing (quite a wait for the coffees though!). Thoroughly enjoyable tour, would 100% recommend

Just the best day ever
Honestly I can not fault this trip. Joe (our driver) was incredibly accommodating and are so happy that we were on this tour with him! Not only were the vineyards and cellar doors we went to beautiful, but also the company was top notch.

We have nothing other than raving reviews for SA Getaways as a whole and worked their magic to fit us in on a last minute trip to Adelaide.

So happy with our experience and we’re so excited to come back and explore more with this company.

Wonderful wine tour
We spent an enjoyable day with Leanne touring the Barossa wine region. We visited a number of wineries, both famous and boutique, and enjoyed interesting commentry from our guide and the staff at the various wineries, and of course, got to sample some lovely wines. The trip included a visit to the Maggie Beer shop and a cheese tasting. The small group allowed for friendly interaction and an overall pleasant day,
