I recently had the pleasure of arranging a group of 13 family members for a hop-on hop-off wine tour. The experience was nothing short of delightful. Trail hopper a local South Aussie business offered a unique and flexible way to explore the picturesque wine country, and was a fantastic way to spend a day immersed in the world of wine and with family.

Everything was perfect. The pick up and drop of times were as scheduled. The variety of wineries extensive and we had time for 3 tastings AND a lunch stop for pizza and beer ( shhhh you didn't read it here). Both were excellent BTW. Our driver was the BEST, friendly, informative, helpful and we had a fun and friendly vibe with our fellow wine appreciators. It was recommended that we pre-book our tastings directly with wineries beforehand. This does mean you have to have an idea of where you would like to go first. We did book and on the day the wineries were quiet so getting a tasting without a booking would not have been a problem. OUr tour day was a Sunday and apparently the previous day was very busy. Some of our fellow wine appreciators made their decisions on a whim and they had fantastic experiences also. A great service that I highly recommend and we look forward to joining Trail Hopper in the future.

We spent a week in Adelaide and booked 2 x TrailHopper tours; one being the Adelaide Hills + Hahndorf and the other being the Barossa Valley tour. Let me tell you - WOW! Obviously the places are incredible, but the tour pick up and drop off was just EASY! It really was a breeze. We had Kyle as our tour guide for both trips (lucky us - he's so cool!) and he was super informative, shared many laughs and very helpful with choosing where to go and was always on time for drop off and pick up at each location. Could not rate this highly enough. The booking process was easy through WhatsApp and both day tours were so so enjoyable. Myself and partner are SO grateful we chose this option and didn't fork out several hundred dollars for a car hire - we would have missed out on so much information and enjoyment! Thank you Kyle and TrailHopper! What an amazing two days we had with you! Highly recommend to everyone heading to SA. PS - there's a bbq and place to stay when you head over to the East Coast ha ha! My granddaughter and I went on a hop-on, hop off wine tasting tour with a small group of people. Nathan our guide was amazing - good sense of humour and extremely knowledgeable. We learnt about our surroundings as we went through the Barossa Valley and Nathan also gave us information on the different vineyards. Being able to get off the bus, have tastings and lunch wherever we chose along the way was fantastic and Nathan was spot on time to pick up each "group" from their respective stops. I wouldn't hesitate to go on this tour again when I'm next in Adelaide.

Went on the adelaide hills tour last week with a group of friends. The tour was so well organised, communication was clear and the driver couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. The bus was on time at every stop and was very clean and comfortable. Overall great value and we all had a great time, would highly recommend.

Thank you for having us. We enjoyed ourselves. It would be great if the routine of the bus could be explained more.

The set up of this tour is really convenient and the flexibility to create your own wine tour is great when you don’t have a car.

The Trailhopper visit to Adelaide Hills was outstanding. Excellent driver/guide with helpful advice. The programme of visits was well designed and a very pleasant experience.

Had an incredible time on the Barossa TrailHopper tour. We did the tour with the lunch included and it was amazing! Nathan was an awesome guide/driver and he knew everything you could know about the region. I think we ended up buying over 6 bottles of wine but the highlight was the general experience. I highly recommend! We’ll be going on another tour soon!

We loved our day in the Barossa with the help of Trail Hopper. The bus was very punctual and ran to an efficient schedule. Our driver Kyle was very communicative about pick up and he was knowledgeable about the vineyards. Would definitely use again!

Hop-on, hop-off is a great way to taste wines from a range of wineries in the Barossa Valley. High quality experience, with the driver friendly yet pushy enough to keep on schedule. Police with breathalyzers await unwary personal drivers in Tanunda.

Trail Hopper was great! I loved being able to select the wineries we went to and there was plenty of information online, on the bus and a knowledgeable bus driver to make choosing our stops easier. We got some information on the history of the region as well as some tips on places to go in Adelaide. I would definitely book another tour with Trail Hopper in the future

the hop on hop off bus was a great option for visitors from Sydney who didn't want to drive to the wine regions. The format is simple you will get to visit 3 places and think about reserving time for lunch - some of the wineries have amazing food! the drop off is in center of Adelaide very convenient.

Nathan was our driver and he went out of his way to give us a great tour. Plenty of local knowledge and an outgoing personality. Would go again with this company to a different region.
