Step aboard the traditional wooden paddlewheel boat, crafted from Queensland timber, and find a comfortable seat on deck for unobstructed views of the Brisbane skyline as it lights up at night. Enjoy the ambiance of a peaceful river cruise as you sit down to a buffet dinner of contemporary dishes that showcase Australian produce and other local products—dishes such as confit beef, oven-baked fish, potato salad, green pea salad, and desserts such as lemon cheesecake and panna cotta (see Itinerary for sample menu). You can also enjoy soft drinks, juice, sparkling wine, spirits, Australian wine, and beer included with your dinner. After dinner wraps up, listen to live classical music and modern favorites as you hit the dance floor. Then, head back to Eagle Street Pier; the rest of the evening is yours.

Motorised scooters are prohibited on board any cruise. What an incredible charter it is; We had the best party time while viewing from the top deck the incredible view of our city and the river fire- fireworks show. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and very well informed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone without a second thought -. thank you again.

Our favourite part of our romantic evening was Jean who hosted our table for two. Jean made sure we had a great time, always checking in, serving amazing cocktails, beautiful buffet and the best birthday cake & celebration that made us feel totally special. Jean & the crew are delightful, we’ll be back again for our anniversary.

We joined the first dinner cruise outing following the COVID shutdown and thoroughly enjoyed our night and dinner. We chose the Ultimate dinner cruise which includes all your drinks and buffet dinner/desserts. Everything was very nice - the staff were friendly and helpful (especially Jean who was particularly lovely - thank you Jean!)
Obviously the new COVID restrictions mean that things have had to change, like the buffet is now served by the chef (not self serve) and the drinks have to be ordered at your table and brought to you instead of ordered at the bar. The food was very good and desserts also very nice. All staff worked very hard on the night to cater for the changes. My only criticism would be that the drinks orders took too long to arrive, but I’m sure this will be ironed out in no time. Thank you for a memorable dinner cruise!

I'm so sorry about the delay in drinks service, with a full cruise and all-new Covid requirements we did experience some delays and thank you for your patience and understanding. We will get better. Stay in touch, we have a new vessel coming to Brisbane soon and we'd love to have you on board.

We booked online and paid a month in advance to go on the kokuburra paddleboat for a special dinner. 2 days we where advised that there was no space on the paddleboat we asked to move to the following week but they where already booked (later we discovered that was not case).
They said we had to go on the voyager vessel. I was advised there was definately an outside viewing areas on both levels at the back of the boat. So we would still have the same experience.
This vessel was not at all the same experience. Also we could not go outside at the back of the boat as upstairs was as a private function. We were not allowed to out the back on our level either they didn't say why. The only area we could go was at the front of the vessel (See pics) This was clearly marked as crew only with a 2 foot high treshold you had to step over and on desk alot of things to avoid like anchours. We paid extra for a window seat and was cramed into a corner infront of the doors that everyone was going in and out if constantly to get to outside. There where people smoking outside the staff did nothing to stop it, we could smell it during our meal.
The experience was dissapointing to say the least and not at all described on there website. I wrote to complaint but they have not even bothered to respond. I called and advised its against the ACCC to not include on there website the voyager vessel pictures and experience as it is very different. This was 3 months ago. There has been no changes.
1 day after the cruise our credit card was full of fraudulant activity and this was the only thing the card had been used for.
If you are after a budget party boat experience that is what this is. It is not a nostalic romantic experience like on there website at all.

We enjoyed the sights of Brisbane at night on this harbour cuise, which had dinner included.
The food was of a good quality, help yourself, had a reasonable selection, and the free wine etc was good.
It was reasonably full the night we went, and the singers were great.
All in all a good experience, and very relaxing

My wife and chose the river cruise as a way to see Brisbane at night. We were not disappointed. The cruise includes a buffet meal. I would consider the meal to be a typical buffet. There was beef, pork and fish as well as a vegetarian option. It was a good meal. The night scenery along the river was beautiful. There was live entertainment during the entire cruise. Some took advantage to dance to the music. My wife and I were not enthralled with the entertainer.

A big thank you to all the staff on the Kookaburra Queen. Especially to the waitress Helen, she made sure our experience that night was exceptional. The food was amazing. Dining with 3 children 2 years old and under can have it's draw backs, however, they were settled and enjoying the boat and entertainment. Thanks everyone for a great experience

I tried to book a dinner cruise for our trip to Brisbane, after reading the terms and conditions i called to ask if this was correct! the lady who i spoke with was quite rude & abrupt and basically told me If they cancel your booking they will NOT give you a refund only a credit note, so basically if you are an interstate traveler you are stuffed. You'll have a credit for a boat cruise in Brisbane that you wanted to go on but they cancelled on you and wont give you a refund...

Terrible customer service. We were the last table of 12 to be served. They pretty much said hurry up desert is coming even though we just got our mains. They forgot 4 vegan deserts. The waitstaff couldnt tell us about the alcohol. We have been every year for 7 years never again. This was a horrible experience and the nanager was awful.

I think it was just under 3 hours which we thought was good amount of time. Plenty of time to eat/drink and enjoy.
