See the area's migrating whales from the best possible vantage point, the deck of whale-watching boat, on this half-day cruise from Redcliffe Jetty—with optional roundtrip transport from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast. On a high-speed catamaran, ride through Moreton Bay, keeping an eye out for whales and listening to engaging commentary about their biology and behavior from your onboard guides. An included buffet lunch means you won't go hungry.

What to Expect

Head for Redcliffe Jetty to board the high-speed catamaran, custom-built for whale watching. Alternatively, if you upgraded to hotel pickup from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, be ready for a pickup at your hotel.

Once on board, choose a spot on the top-level sun deck or inside for some shade and views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Search Moreton Bay for migrating humpback whales and learn about their biology and behavior through guided commentary. During the season (June through November) it's not unusual to see whales breaching or swimming beside the catamaran, so keep your camera ready.

Take a pause from sightseeing for an onboard buffet lunch comprised of salad, cold meats, and tiger prawns.

The whale-watching cruise ends at Redcliffe Jetty where it started. If you selected the round-trip transportation, the tour ends with hotel drop-off.
