Overview
Getting around the base of Uluru on foot is a challenge—the monolith is large and takes a long time to circumnavigate on foot. Traveling via Segway means you can make it all the way around in a short amount of time. Instruction and provided equipment mean even beginners can take part in this tour, with a guide in the lead providing navigation and commentary. This self-drive tour allows you the freedom to just meet your tour at Uluru instead of trekking to a central meeting point.
What to Expect

Self Drive your car to Uluru and meet your friendly guide at our site base in the Kuniya Carpark.  Upon arrival at the segway base area, the tour guide will provide you with segway training. You'll take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride of your segway. Afterward, you'll be ready for your guided tour of the magical full base of Uluru (the native name of Ayers Rock).

Take in all the highlights of the rock; learn about local Anangu culture, flora, fauna, geology and the European history of the area from our knowledgeable guides.

Please note, the National Park entry fee is not included.

Definitely more worthwhile than walking in the Sun!

We hail from Melbourne and glad that we booked the 10AM Tour. It was still quite cold in the morning this time of year but the Sun was at full force. As we Segway around the base of 10km, which took about 2hours, we saw...More
