Overview
Experience an unforgettable sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock). Warm up with a tea or coffee and settle in on the viewing platform for an incredible view of the surrounding desert landscape as the sun rises over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Walk the trail through Walpa Gorge following the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.

  • An early starts means you miss the midday crowds and escape the heat
  • Navigate the vast desert with ease alongside a guide
  • Convenient hotel pickup and drop-off are included
What to Expect
In the early morning, your tour begins with pickup from your Uluru hotel, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for the sunrise observation area. As you watch the sun rise, your guide shares Aboriginal history and tell you about the native flora and fauna. While enjoying a light breakfast of tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits, listen to morning birdsong as you watch the sunrise over the ethereal desert landscapes that surround Ayers Rock (Uluru). Then, set out for the Olgas (Kata Tjuta), 36 domed rocks of great spiritual significance to the native Anangu people. Pay a visit to Walpa Gorge before you’re dropped back at your hotel.
