Inis Oirr And Cliffs of Moher Cruise

Overview

This is one of our most popular day-trips, where you can visit Inis Oirr and also cruise under the Cliffs of Moher in the same day. There are many attractions on Inis Oirr – ancient castles, one of Ireland’s most beautiful beaches, a modern playground and several pubs and cafes. Take a pony and trap, hire a bicycle or walk the uncrowded tiny roads.

The return cruise via the Cliffs of Moher is a spectacular journey below these world famous cliffs which tower over 700ft above the sea.

What to Expect

Inis Oirr (Eastern Island) is only a 30 minute ferry journey from Doolin. There are many attractions to be found here – ancient castles, a shipwreck, a lighthouse, one of Ireland’s most beautiful beaches, a modern playground and several fine pubs and cafes. The 3 pubs all serve good, local food and traditional Irish music can be heard on a daily basis.

There are a number of ways to see the island while you are there. You can walk along the many quiet roads, rent a bicycle on the island, or take a guided tour in one of the pony & traps or tour buses.
The Cliffs of Moher are the crowning glory of the Clare coastline. Like a viewing platform for prehistoric giants who wish to peer over the edge of Europe, the cliffs provide an unrivaled view across the vast boiling wildness of the Atlantic Ocean, a world unchanged since the pre-Celtic masters of magic, the Tuatha Dé Danann ruled Ireland.

Must Go!

Friendly and helpful crew. Beautiful sights with commentary. The only downside was the disorganization on the dock when catching the ship from the island. This was a great value, would love to do it again!

Extraordinary views and great crew!

I loved this company and this cruise. The staff was terrific, it's run by a family, the boat is clean and fun--and, literally, the views can't be equaled. I would do this again in a heart beat.

Great Way to View Cliffs

This is a great way to view the Cliffs of Moher. Really get a close-up look and some background on the area. We also enjoyed tramping around Inis Oirr. Only drawback was the pushy tourists and crowded boat. Captain was a great guy though.

A nice day out

We took the Doolin to Inis Oírr ferry for the morning (returning at 13:45) and then on to the Cliffs of Moher cruise for an hour. The trip started off a wee bit unorganised, as two other boats were being loaded and the Doolin2Aran ferry...More

We had a fabulous day out. We were fortunate with great weather. We bought our tickets at the information centre in Doolin and he gave us incorrect information about the amount of money needed for the car park. His information would have bene correct if...More

Boat leaves island at quarter to five I think. If you go out to cliffs I think it’s about half six when you get back to Doolin
