Itinerary
Visit the Spanish Riding School in Vienna in the baroque academy and see how the horses train during their morning exercise. Through the specific strengthening and building up of the muscles, the horses’ natural movements are developed into the perfect figures of the High School of classical Horsemanship. As the Riding School do not want to put too much strain on the horses, the classical School Jumps, which are shown during the performances, are not practiced on a daily basis, usually from Tuesday to Friday, accompanied by classical Viennese music.

Programme will be anytime during 10 to 12 hrs. No fixed programme schedule during the training of the horses. Open seating (seats- and standing room).

If you have any interest in these horses or the program I highly recommend a visit here.

Although we did not see any complicated training taking place it was magical just being there. You will get to see the riders and a number of the horses being trained by the riders. Beautiful facility run in a very professional way. Horses are extraordinary.

We were very lucky to be in the right place at the right time. We managed to get standing tickets for the Saturday show. We were blown away by the skills of the stallions & their riders & handlers. This is well worth the money,...More

A little interesting but boring!

It's really just the horses walking around for an hour. If you love horses this might do it for you. But otherwise skip it.

Exquisite horses, sheer elegance

I visited the riding school for the morning exercise. It was of great interest to me to see the horses being gently exercised and seeing them enjoying themselves in the activities looping around the arena. It is evident that there is so much that goes...More
