Overview
Get to know Vienna on a walking tour that’s perfect for first-time visitors. As you explore, you’ll not only see standout sights like St. Stephen’s Cathedral, you’ll discover the history behind them, too. Listen to commentary from a local guide and ask as many questions as you like while you walk; group numbers are capped at just 15 people for a more interactive and laidback tour.
What to Expect
From Maria-Theresien-Platz, you’ll stroll with your guide and small group around the Ringstrasse. The beautiful boulevard surrounds central Vienna, and is home to some of the city’s most significant monuments including the Austrian Parliament and Vienna City Hall.

As you chat about the city, you’ll head onward through the blooms of the Volksgarten, passing Heldenplatz and the striking Hofburg Palace. Hear tales of emperors as you admire the Burggarten and Imperial Butterfly House, and stories of Napoleon at the Augustinian Church.

Other highlights include the Vienna State Opera, the shopping hotspot of the Graben, and, of course, St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Here, you’ll bid your guide goodbye as the tour ends.

Great tour, great guide

I really enjoyed Dace's tour of the Vienna City Center. I did it my first day in town and it was a good way to orient myself while learning a lot about the City and Viennese history and culture. Highly recommend!
