Itinerary
Leave Vienna by comfortable, climate-controlled coach and cross the border of Austria to Slovakia, your destination for the day.

In just an hour, you’ll stop in Bratislava, the country’s captivating capital city, framed by the Little Carpathian mountains. Get your bearings on a walking tour of Bratislava Old Town and hear the history behind landmarks such as Grassalkovich Palace and the Primate’s Palace with its pastel pink façade.

Then, make the most of an afternoon of free time to have lunch or explore the city at your own pace. The Slovak National Theatre and the bars and cafes of the center are worth visiting.

Meet your guide at the prearranged time to return to Vienna by coach, or upgrade to change your return transport to an express catamaran and admire the sights of the Danube River as you cruise back to Vienna.

Nice but overpriced

We were picked up by car from our hotel and brought to the bus. The bus ride was fine, about an hour. Upon arrival, we were met by our tour guide, a young man (forgot his name) who spoke excellent English. The tour was good,...More

Well organised, good value, and a great day out from Vienna.

About an hour by coach in the morning, and another hour return in the afternoon by fast catamaran along the Danube, docking at Schwedenplatz near Vienna city centre. A morning walking tour with a local English speaking guide was included - excellent - after which...More
