We have had a wonderful day! Visited multiple ancient and beautiful places in Northern Cyprus with our tour guide Sedat. It was very informative as he knows all about the old history of the sites as well as modern day living in Cyprus. There was cool water available, which was very welcome (34°C). We were happy to have a guide in Sedat. He was pleasant, chill and shared good information on the places we visited, including personal anecdotes. In fact, we booked a 2nd tour to Famagusta after completing the Kyrenia tour. The lunch places we were brought to were lovely as well! We definitely recommend Sedat and Side Tours.

An excellent day out in the Turkish occupied north of the island - a great way to see some of the famous sites in this part of Cyprus. Our host, Cemal, was an excellent, friendly guide who spoke good English - his knowledge of history was outstanding! As other reviewers have said, this is quite a fast-paced tour and a long day out (9am to 6pm in our case) and may not suit everybody. Typically, we had about 30 minutes at each of the sites visited. There is a considerable amount of driving too, I reckon about 100 miles or so, but we felt very safe in Cemal's hands. The tour included an excellent lunch at 2pm. (1h) I would recommend this tour to those who wish to get an overview of life on the Turkish side of the 'Green Line' and visit a few of the more famous sites.

The guide was REALLY good and knew a lot. I was happy to get an overview of what the Northern part of Cyprus looked like. I am mixed about it was worth the money. As a solo traveler I paid for 2 persons and thought it was expensive. But it was the only option I had - unfortunately…

Excellent itinerary visiting key sites from Greek and Roman period, the Venetian period, Byzantine, pre Venetian and recent history. A good cultural experience. My guide Sedat was very knowledgeable, tailored the trip specifically to focus on my interests. He drive very safely, was kind and polite. I unreservedly recommend this day trip and I was fortunate to have Sedat. Several highlights but especially Salamis and the Phoenician boat more than 2300 years old!

There are many aspects of the Kyrenia area that seem to be over looked. For instance,the friendly way in which the visitor is accepted into the community. You never hear the words no or cant.The atmosphere there is exemplary and a feel good factor is always present. Public transport,well you must use it as its frequent and well affordable. Food wise alsohits the spot,the best restaurant in my mind is the Blue song Lapta, you must judge for yourselves on that one. All in all a wonderful experience. NORTH CYPRUS

If you want to visit northen Cyprus it is a must to see all of this with Sedat, our retired school teacher. He is not just your tourguide but he brings you along through the journey of his life. A better view on the Turkish side than 'being al local' is not possible. Sedat has a lot of knowledge of the rich history Cyprus has hidden. His passion is felt in every story he has got to share. It's a long day but one you will remember for a very long time.
