- sagard7250 contributionsBeautiful way to see the city. A must!We were looking for this cruise company but in the end went on a shorter 30 min cruise for 1 €10 per person. Small motor boat. It was a beautiful sunny day. We cruised around the harbour taking in the three cities. It was lovely way to see the gorgeous buildings facing the harbour and the lovely yachts and boats. There were just 6 passengers but the family got off as they were just crossing so we had the vessel to ourselves. 30mins was fine to take it all in. Can do a longer ride. We caught the boat next to the fast ferry stop. It’s a must for a trip to Valletta!Written September 8, 2024

- FellowTraveler3243770 contributionsTravelling with kidsThe tour is great value for the money. The stop at Crystal Lagoon is perfect! Jumping and swimming around the boat ;) However blue lagoon is getting really crowded, (compared to my last visit 11 years ago). The boat arrives in the afternoon 14 ish and you can stay ashore till 17 20 ish. The boat departure in the meantime to pick up some Gozo tourists and come back and dock to lagoon at 16 00. Best part was when we went back to the boat early (1600) we stayed next to boat and jumped and swim around. If you are with smaller kids, take into consideration that the cruising time may be too long (and maybe windy) for an infant. Actually, there will be no shade in the blue lagoon at all, if you leave the boat. (All the shady spots are taken by the tourists by that time). On the other hand the boat itself is very comfortable providing lots of shades. Crew is professional and sharing lots of good information of Malta and Comino itself. Lovely day for a harbour cruise and the commentary was in English and easy to understand and quite informative! - edpO8431ZS0 contributionsBest Blue lagoon tour in Malta! What a fantastic cruise! Aurora was so kind and helpful and even went out of her way to research the wind levels and weather for the day of our trip and suggested the best part of the boat to be based No hard sales pitch, unlike some of the other companies on the Quay The boat itself was spotless toilets, were clean and the bar well stocked Really enjoyed using the slide off the Crystal Logoon even in my 50s! 3 1/2 hours at the blue Lagoon were perfect and loved snorkelling at the little Cominitto island opposite, especially the little caves What an experience swimming amongst shoals of fish Stopping off at the some of the large caves to take some photos was great Also loved the 80s music on the return journey! All staff on board were really helpful and worked so hard with a smile on their faces, which shows they really enjoy their job If you choose, one cruise, choose this one! 10/10Written June 27, 2024
- 848kimg0 contributionsGreat Tour On The WaterWe thoroughly enjoyed this harbour cruise. It has an extensive commentary and covered a lot in the timeframe on the water. The boat was clean and comfortable and we loved sitting up top and enjoying the view of all the surrounding areas. We had a perfect view of the Valletta skyline! It was a great way to see the sights from a different perspective. Highly recommended to take this cruise with this local family-run business.Written June 11, 2024

- wizeadvizor0 contributionsMalta is so gorgeous from the water - historic insights make it even betterBoat was smaller and less comfortable than expected. Given was a very chilly day that was a little bit of a distraction- trying to keep warm. Malta doesn’t disappoint from the water! Small boat plus was we were able to go inside a small harbor with spectacular views of surrounding old cities and boats. Gorgeous. The English was a bit difficult to understand but overall could follow historical points talked about. Nice crew.Written December 6, 2023
- Nomad259166039270 contributionsGreat boat tripThis boat tour gives you another view of Valletta and the cities next to it. We were taken care of on time, the crew was nice. Despite the bad weather (wind and rain), we were still able to admire the architecture and boats in the port. Nevertheless, we thought we were going to have a smaller boat, a rather typical style as in the first picture of the ad.Written November 24, 2023

We wanted to go on a day tour to Gozo and Comino so we were walking along Sliema promenade and looking for offers. This guy from Luzzu cruises approached us and convinced us to buy a boat trip for the following day (even gave us a discount while we were very indecisive). Next day we got on the boat. Lucky for us we were a little early and got first in line and got to choose the best seats. Later on the boat was fully occupied. The boat ride was nice, they were telling about different locations while we were driving along Malta on the speakers. We stopped at Gozo and a little bus (which was way too small for all of us) drove us to Victoria where we had one hour to explore. That one hour is enough to explore the citadel but is not enough for anything else really. Later we drove to Inland Sea divesite where small boats (6 people in each) took us through the cliffs and caves. This was the spotlight of the whole trip for us! Amazing views and experience!
Later we went back to our cruise and went to Comino island where we had about 2 hours. As beautiful as Blue Lagoon is, it was soooo overcrowded. We got a little dizzy from the cruise ship so we wanted to sit and relax somewhere on the coast. There were some sun beds and umbrellas placed for additional price but all were occupied, other than that there were no place to sit and relax. The weather was scorching hot and the only place where we could find some shade was behind public toilets. So we took a swim in the sea and sat by the toilets until cruise boarded back to Malta. On our way back we were quite tired and got a little seasick (the waves by Gozo are the biggest). I noticed that other bigger cruise ships tend to swim smoother across the big waves, so maybe bare that in mind if you are prone to seasickness, because this ship was quite jumpy).
Other than that is was a great day and definitely worth our money and time!

We had a terrific day on this tour. The captain was great - explaining at the onset that the waters would likely be rough on the way there. So I was prepared and took seasickness meds in advance. There was ample seating available and the boat was clean and comfortable.
The ride was very picturesque and there was a nice commentary about what we were seeing.
We arrived at the Blue Lagoon first and loved walking around the island. The views are beautiful. Our stop provided plenty of time since it was too early in the season to swim yet.
We were then brought over to Comino and the group was split into buses. Our driver (and his dogs) was hilarious and gave us a great running commentary as we stopped first at Xlendi Bay and then were dropped off in the centre of Victoria.
We had enough time to walk to the Citadel and wander around inside. From there we had a bite to eat at a nice little restaurant on the main strip.
Our driver then took us back to the boat with a quick stop at the cathedral on the hill with a lovely viewpoint over the harbour.
Once back on the boat, we headed over to see the Santa Maria caves and then back to Sliema.
The whole day was perfect. Our captain was very personable and kept everyone on time and we felt safe the whole time. The crew was friendly and provided great service when we ordered some drinks (that were very reasonably priced).
Would highly recommend this tour - it was a fantastic way to get to Comino and the gorgeous location of Blue Lagoon and excellent value for the cost.

Must do trip while in Malta. This trip was the best way to see Gozo, learn about the history and get to see Gozo in one day. Great value for the money, the staff is nice/friendly, the music is good, they took us out on the big boat that fits over 100 people with only 9 people. Plenty of room for social distancing. Due to Covid you may be able to get a little bit of discount since they can’t do open bar. Swimming in the blue lagoon was amazing, still warm in November. Highly recommend. You’ll regret not going.

The trip starts in Sliema port where you can find a parking lot (it was 7 Euro for the entire day) but make sure you arrive a bit earlier in order to find a spot. On the way to Gozo island, the captain points out the main attractions and you can easily hear them (there were some reviews in which people complained about this, but in my opinion they are not true). After arriving in Gozo, a bus took us to Victoria and then to the inland sea near the former Azure Window; you can take a quick 15 minute boat ride (we highly recommend it). When stopping at the Blue Lagoon you can take a swim, use the boat's water slide or snorkel around to see the fish. The entire crew was very polite and we really enjoyed it, so if you want to have a great day trip to Gozo and Camino, look no further!

The boat trip was relaxing with sites of interest along the coast pointed out to us and a good way of seeing the Island from the sea. The staff on board were really lovely. We were glad to have done this trip because the bus (with air con) on Gozo got us straight to main sites without any worries. Visiting Victoria (aka Rabat) we were so glad we went straight up to the Citadel and fortress as it meant we had plenty of time up there to explore. Had we stayed in the square for a coffee first, it might have been too rushed. Time was limited (but enough) at Dwejra bay - make sure you have cash to do the small boat trip option at Dwejra as payment by card is not an option. Comino was lovely for a swim and the waters were beautifully cooling and refreshing.
A great day trip, well organised and timed!
Tip if staying in Valletta - we were glad we walked to find out where the boat from Valletta to Sliema (where you pick up the tour boat) left from as it could be tricky to identify the road down to the quayside. We watched a boat arrive and followed where people came up from.

Great boat cruise from Sliema to Gozo and the Blue Lagoon. Really good organisation and good amount of time at each location. We got the 10am cruise which includes a 3 hour bus tour of Gozo. When we stopped in Victoria we had time to walk all the way to the Citadel and enjoy the views. The second stop was a beautiful baby where if you're quick you can enjoy a €4 boat trip around the caves, would recommend!
Finally we made our way back to the boat and on to the blue lagoon. We hired snorkeling stuff from the boat and had a great time swimming around the bay and exploring!
Would definitely recommend this tour!

Nice boat trip, best way to visit the two islands of Gozo and Comino in one day. I paid 35 EUR online, if you go to their shop and you buy it in person you can get a lower price (I saw people paid 30 or even 25 EUR).
Social distancing was not enforced at all during the whole tour against any law and logic.
Full capacity on the boat (at least upstairs), no obligation to wear a mask (or at least it was not required by the staff: only the staff and some scared tourists were wearing it - including me and my girlfriend). A reckless day of joy for dozens of tourists coming from all over Europe (including countries undergoing major COVID outbreaks).
However the worst part has been the sightseeing tour in Gozo: here 15 people have been put in a minivan without any idea related to the concept of social distancing. If mismanaging the behaviour of some British kids and French families without masks on a boat could be OK, here the tour operator had a truly criminal intent in putting all this tourists' flesh together in a van without a centimetre of space between each body.
In normal times this would have been a nice touristy thing, in Corona times this experience was about to become a nightmare. The tour operator should be ashamed for this irresposible behaviour that is attempting the health of their customers, of their staff and of themselves and ultimately the public health of Malta.

Dear Robberto_ms,
I would like to thank you for your review.
We feel sorry that you did not have good experience with us and we would have appreciated it more if you spoke to one of the crew onboard so that they could help make your day easier/better.
I wish to clarify a few points, the total capacity Of the boat is 250 and we have reduced this capacity by 60% so this means that 100 passengers are allowed onboard. So to write that we allowed full capacity and didn’t respect Covid 19 measures is totally not the case.
Regarding the price, this depends on which cruise you opt for, there is the Comino Day Cruise which cost €20, the Gozo Direct Full day cruise cost €25 and the Gozo Comino and Blue lagoon cruise cost €35.
Hope that you have enjoyed your stay in Malta.
Kind Regards

Friendly staff but we were told the cruise would be at 50% capacity due to covid however there weren't enough seats on the boat for me and my partner to sit down on the one hour return journey. At gozo we were put on to the "coach" which was a fleet of very small vans/mini-buses with every seat full. Didn't feel like the right thing to do during a pandemic, especially on a tour that was touting their half capacity as a selling point. The Citadel in Victoria was really great but quite rushed. Make sure you pay the extra 4€ to do the caves boat trip at Dwejra, Gozo- it was a highlight. Blue lagoon was horrendously busy and wouldn't really recommend it although when in the water it was lovely for a swim with sand below your feet.
We still had a great time but I wish I'd seen a review like this when we were choosing our tour and we would have picked an alternative.

When I went (Monday) it wasn't packed. The crew are the nicest people ever so kind. They are considerate of sea sickness and are very efficient. The actual trip takes about 1.15 hr to comino where you can swim in the blue lagoon (free of charge) qnd get optional drinks in a pineapple for a price. Then in Gozo they arrange minibuses to take you to the city center where you have free roam time. It's definetley a good bucket list day and really good value for money. The captain also gives fun facts on the cruise!

Staff are very friendly and very professional. the cruise was beatiful and very relaxing. Unfortunately, We could not go to the blue lagoon because of weather (they have told us that when we were already in Gozo. I know they have tried their best, but the weather didn't alow it- my only problem with that is that we asked before purchasing the tickets that same morning, if the weather is good enough or should we choose another day, and the seller told us that it is preferred we go that day because the day after it would be worse). they take the passengers in Gozo to a short trip to see the views and than we had 3 hours free, but were not sure what we should do at this time, will it be enough to take the hop-on hop off bus for example? were'nt sure. also, the vehicle we were travelling in was a bit crowded, in the beginning of the drive we had to sit with our backs to the driving side so felt very bad - changed places after that so felt better. overall it was a nice experience and we enjoyed very much the cruise part.

Hi I have two replaced heart values and a pacemaker but am fine and work full time. Is this acceptable? . Can we buy food and drink on the boat?

Also, I doubt if your medical condition would affect the travel, as long as you can swim as little else to do

Hi,
No, this trip is one of two choice 1) to Gozo (disembark bus tour to Dwejra, Inland sea, and Victoria (The Capital City) with Citadel (Old Fortified City)), then Camino (disembark or stay on the boat), around Camino (caves) and back to Sliema. The same boat trip also for people just want to go to Camino. This company does offer other tour tips but not all round the island. Check out Hera company for all around island tour
