Johnny was a fabulous tour guide and driver, extremely knowledgeable about Gozo, could not do enough to ensure you had the best time. He was very friendly, patient and went out his way to make your trip specials we also highly recommend the extra €5 boat trip through the caves! It was beautiful! The tour itself is worth it you pretty much see the whole of Gozo, so much is included!

We had an amazing day on the Island of Gozo, transferred by speed boat and being driven around on a Jeep by our tour guide Johnny. We got to stop at the main stops, Rumla Bay, Ggantica temples, many churches, some beautiful beaches, the citidel etc. we were pleasantly surprised by how many amazing things we got to see in one day. Our tour guide Johnny was awesome and shared his local knowledge of Gozo with us along the way, and tuned into the things we liked (making sure we maximised our time at places that interested us). The jeeps had seat belts (which was especially good for the kids) and Johnny drove perfectly - slowing down when there were views or random local things that we wanted to take photos of that weren’t on the list of stops. We had a delicious lunch (salads, meats and bread) at the guest house, midday and Johnny made sure we got to fit in an ice-cream and swim in the afternoon. I saw other jeep safari tour companies, but they seemed “more rushed” than ours. We were very pleased we selected the Barbarossa jeep tour. We also took the short boat cruise Johnny recommended of the Gozo Blue Grotto. Amazing! Highly recommend

The trip was enjoyable, with the exception of the boat feeling like it was overcrowded and the overpowering smell of gasoline. The Jeep is not a real “Jeep”, there are benches in the back space which you are mostly crammed into. We were fortunate to only have 5 people, but since we were all fairly tall we didn’t have a great deal of space to move and it was very hot. The reason I gave it a 5 was mostly because of our guide Johnny who was great and the fact that the captain of our boat called out a jellyfish while we were in the water. We’ve had a jellyfish stinging in the past and that would have ended the holiday so we were grateful to know about it and be able to stay clear.

Coach was over half hour late pick up. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had only stopped 2 times before lunch. Had to pay €10 for a temple that you only had 20mins to look at and lunch was really mediocre and spent an hour and a half there. Sites were nice but this could have been done in half a day

Thr day was promising since it was another sunny day, and our expectations weren't at tge same level of the day. It was simply impressive. We took a private boat that went directly to Gozo and we were able to enjoy the views to the blue see and the islands.
When we got there, a team of people with their jeeps were waiting for us, and in less than 5 minutes the organization team managed to direct us upon the person who would be the main character of the day, Jhonny. Jhonny was our tour guide and i have no words to describe how glad i feel to had the opportunity of having him in the tour. Apart from a great explanation on the most important parts and monuments of the island and a humour that kept the journey alive and with a good mood. After visiting a few of the most emblematic places of Gozo we went to the restaurant. A full-included buffet were we could enjoy a great variety of food with an exquisite wine (also included).
After having lunch, we visited some more cool places and we also were ablo to swim a little in thr beautiful water of Gozo.
Eventually Jhonny took us to the port were we also were able to go to Blue Lagoon since its captain decided that we could go there to admirate the views. Simply an amazing day.
Last but not least i want to acknoledge our tour guide, Jhonny, for his incredible work, beung able of keeping alive an 8 hour activity and making us learn from his homeplace, Gozo.

I went to Gozo with my mum and our tour guide was Joe and he made our day! He was fabulous and informative and really went out of his way to make sure we had a great day! If you guys get Joe you are in for a real treat. We saw so much of Gozo throughout a jam packed day that was so much fun. Thanks Joe - you’re the best!

Very disappointed, we are being sold a dream but it is a tourist trap, to be avoided.
The shuttle was supposed to pick us up in front of a hotel near ours at 8:20 a.m., it arrived at 8:50 a.m., a real mess, all the drivers were looking for their passengers. Once on the boat, correct crossing then 3/4 hour break on Comino beach, return to the boat towards Blue Lagoon, once arrived we were asked to pay 10 euros per person even though we had already paid 89 euros, in order to have the right to get off the boat for about 15 minutes then return to the boat for a simple and correct meal. Arrival on the island of Gozo where we had to have a French speaking guide, knowing that there is only one French speaking guide and that he also speaks Spanish he was with another group so we had a guide, rather a driver because he didn't comment on anything, he just took us from one point to another. We made 4 photo stops very limited in time, the last just 2 minutes the time to get in and out of the jeep to take a photo, he asked us to get back in the car because he was short on time and we had to be at 4:30 p.m. at the boat. To top it off, there were 6 of us packed into the jeeep, very poorly installed because there was no room for so many people, we couldn't move anyway the driver was driving very fast even if there was nice things to see, what I don't know since the driver didn't comment, it was impossible for us to take photos. In short, avoid...

The guide George was very good and friendly making the tour enjoyable. However, if you have trouble walking or breathing this tour may not be for you.
The roads can get a bit bumpy, the 30 mins you get for the citidale is nowhere near enough time to get around and have a look, even if you have no trouble walking you don't have the ability to see everything. The temple is also a large place to look around and can take more than the 30 mins, and considering you have to pay to go in there is a waste of money just to look at the artifacts and not have a look at the ruins.
The weather on the way was a bit choppy so we had to take the ferry, but it had calmed later and we got to see the beautiful blue lagoon.

We had a great time with the team. Our group included 3 cars and we had 2 active, friendly and knowledgeable guides. We have seen a lot. We wish we could stay a bit longer in few places but there is so much to see and daylight only to 5:40pm.I
We highly recommend the tour with the company.

Johnny was our driver on our full day jeep tour of Gozo. He was fantastic! He is a great driver and very knowledgeable of the history of the island. Highly recommend the full day tour (we had to follow the other jeeps for the morning who only did a half-day tour but the afternoon part was up to us what we wanted to see for the full-day tour).

Hello, we are interested in booking this tour for Saturday July 27. In the description and overview, it says that the cost of the ferry to and from malta to gozo is included and pick up from our hotel (we are staying in a rented apartment near the ferry terminal in Sliema). Originally, in the description, it said that we had a private boat to and from Malta to Gozo... which is correct? in the Q&A says that the cost of the ferry is not included... and I'm assuming it's not a private boat.
