Along the way, learn about the history, ecology, and geology of the area through the onboard audio guide, available in 10 languages.  In Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir), see the fields of verdant moss and the gash in the earth where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are pulling apart. Learn about this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the world's oldest existing parliament, founded by the Vikings. Stop at the Geysir geothermal area, home to the Strokkur geyser, which erupts with a 98-foot (30-meter) column of boiling water every 4 to 8 minutes. Continue to Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most impressive waterfalls, where the Hvítá River cascades over three precipices into a 105-foot (32-meter) crevasse.  Conclude the tour at your original departure point.

Toss Up
Sep 2019 • Friends
I’m torn between the overall experience. We saw everything we were supposed to see and got a chance to see the waterfall although it was closed off due to icy conditions. I’m extremely upset with how a situation was handled. My AirPods slipped out of my snack bag and I sent an email around 5am asking if they can check the bus. I arrived at the airport, made my way home and still hadn't heard a thing. 11 hours later after I arrived home, I sent another email. This time I stated that I can see the last location was in fact on the bus. Then and only then did I receive a response 2 minutes later asking for proof. I sent a screenshot and was asked if I had anything more up to date. I do not as I’m 2,000 miles away and I expected a response hours ago. After exchanging emails back and forth, I was finally told there’s another tour on the bus. If you would’ve responded to me accordingly, I probably would’ve been able to retrieve my AirPods but because you guys waited so long to respond, there was a tour that boarded the bus before a sweep of the bus was even done. You guys were quick to respond to an email about our tour that you randomly canceled the day before we were scheduled to go so I don’t know how an email asking for someone to check the bus had to be sent twice. Befuddling.

Lousy service upon cancellation
Jul 2020
The operator cancelled our planned tour via e-mail and didn't even try to contact us on the phone. And they were very little helpful in rearranging our itinerary.

Can't recommend this company

Our tour was cancelled due to low numbers so they rebooked a tour with gray line. Took a few emails and phone calls and info that never came but it worked ok in the end.

Good tour - great tour guide!
Mar 2020 • Friends
We booked the Golden Circle classic tour via Reykjavík Sightseeing.
Pick up was smooth and trouble free, the tour bus was clean and comfortable but the best part was our tour guide Dennis. He was knowledgeable, funny and helpful all day. He managed to squeeze in a quick stop on the return leg to visit some Icelandic horses which were lovely.
The first stop at the lake was lovely - the walk is relatively easy from the drop off point to the meeting point and the views are worth it. The history of the place is fascinating, if a bit gruesome!
The second stop at the geyser was slightly anticlimactic- maybe we caught the geyser on a bad day!
The third stop was the waterfall which was beautiful. The wind was blowing an absolute gale but worth climbing the steps down and back for pictures. I would imagine it’s stunning in summer.
I would definitely recommend this tour with Reykjavík Sightseeing, especially if you are lucky enough to get Dennis and Norbert the driver!

One Day Golden Circle tour

Perfect organization, you can choose pick up/drop off from hotel or meet at the bus station. The guide was very nice, told us about the history of Iceland and how is it to live . We walked through the Pingvellir National Park, then Geyser where we had lunch, finally Gulfoss water fall.

Our host Dennis was great, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor! Our driver Norbert was great too.

Brilliant Golden Circle Tour
We did the Golden Circle tour today and the landscape was incredible. The iPad audio tour that went along with GPS was great too. But what really made the tour for us was our guide, Sigurvin. He took time to chat to each of us personally, filed in the space between the narrated tour with more interesting info during the drive, and best of all had a great sense of humor. Would highly recommend this tour, especially with Sigurvin!

Excellent
We did the Golden Circle Classic. Our guide, Yaka (excuse the spelling)was fantastic! He was polite and informative. Our driver was very safe! We visited all three sites advertised and had plenty of time in each. Where the Geyser was had a fantastic food selection - the fish and chips were good! We were really impressed! Thank you!

Stunning locations, great coach and guide
This was a great tour and also included a stop at Geysir. Thingvellir is where North America meets Europe... an amazing thought as you walk along the gap between two continents. Geysir is where the original geysirs were found... where the word comes from. The original one is now not very inactive but Strokkur, just a couple of hundred yards down the path blows about every 7 minutes. Golfuss is a powerful dramatic and beautiful waterfall with great viewing platforms.

Great cafe at geysir serving excellent lamb soup... a traditional Iceland food.

The toilets at Golfuss are expensive and according to the Mrs not very clean at all.

Our tour guide was John who was excellent. Knowledgeable, humorous, and also good at letting you sit back and take it in yourself. We did think maybe he should be provided with a list of mobile numbers for all guests due to some people's inability to follow simple meeting instructions.

Other than that highly recommended!
