Following convenient pickup at your hotel in Reykjavik, leave the city for your day's exploration of Iceland's southern coast. As you travel, take advantage of the in-bus audio guide, available in 10 languages, to get insight on the landscape as you pass.

At Seljalandsfoss, walk on a path behind the rushing water to get a different perspective on the tumbling falls. Continue to the Sólheimajökull glacier to trek around the crevasses and cracks with a certified glacier guide. Learn about the formation of the glacier, which flows from the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, and how it helped form the surrounding landscape.

At the volcanic Reynisfjara beach, stroll along its black sand and listen to the legend of the 3 trolls who were transformed into the beach's hulking rocks. Take advantage of photo opportunities featuring those rocks and the dramatic black sand.

Next, visit Skógarfoss, where you'll climb 527 steps to see the 213-foot (60-meter) waterfall from above.

Back on board the bus, pass through an area rich with both fertile land and Viking history. On a clear day, get unobstructed views of the Westman Islands, Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes.

At the end your 11-hour sightseeing tour, return to your Reykjavik hotel for drop-off.
