Head for the small village of Vik, known for its stellar sea views, and walk on the black sands of Reynisfjara beach, admiring its basalt-column cliffs. Next, continue to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Take in the beauty of the fall and walk behind the cascade to Skogafoss, whose waters plunge down a 197-foot (60-meter) drop. Make the most of the many photo ops as the falls and scenery promise some stunning shots. Finally, take a short walk to the glacier edge of Solheimajokull, a sublet glacier of Myrdalsjokull. The glaciers are constantly moving, and make some of Iceland’s most incredible sights. About the operator
- 2010KEITHc00Truly Amazing ........An amazing trip and an amazing night. The tour guide headed to a different area from all the other tours, who mainly headed to Reykjanes. The Northern Lights were already visible from when we arrived at our destination and just got stronger and stronger over a period of 2 hours. It was a fantastic display to witness and we were so lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
- Annt6930xw00Awesome intro to Iceland!Alain was informative and entertaining. We learned so much Iceland history and every site in the tour. Every stop was a highlight! We couldn’t ask for a better-planned trip!
- LauraJ777700Lagoon full day tourAwesome tour guide! I enjoyed everything about the tour. The bus is very comfortable. 10 out 10 no complaints.
- FandB198500A GREAT DAY TOURWe took the Golden Circle Day Tour with Kerid Volcanic Crater from Reykjavik on September 7, provided by Bus Travel Iceland. Our guide and driver were terrific (sorry we can't remember their names) and the sights were amazing. We would highly recommend this excursion.
- BridgieBreland00Awesome Way to see so much of Iceland's natural beautyAbsolutely amazing day and a great way to see so much of Iceland's natural beauty. Where else could you start with a Fissure park, gorgeous waterfalls, spending time in a geothermal pool, watch a geyser erupt and finish with a walk around a austerely beautiful water filled volcanic crater. Add in our guide Tomas who is so knowledgeable and is funny/great dry wit. He told so many fun stories, gave us a lot of history & time for ourselves as well, He was so efficient he added a few bonus sites. We even had time to stop for lunch at the geyser park. If you do, I recommend the fish and chips. Perfectly crisp and delicious. If you visit Reykjavík and do a Golden Circle tour, I highly recommend this company and Tom is an fantastic guide. #APerfectDay #ilovetravel #Bridgie_Breland_Foodie
- Lindsey K00Excellent tour!We had a blast on this tour! We loved each of the sights we went to. Our guide was excellent. He told us interesting facts and stories during the drive and gave us plenty of time to explore each of the sights. We would highly recommend this tour!
- Trip6345664340400A guide is the way to go in Iceland! We had an amazing day. The sites are incredible but would not be nearly as good without the folklore, stories and history we learned along the way. Thank you Dave, you are an awesome guide 🙏
- rogereA9218HB00Very good tour, great stops informative tour guide. Luxurious bus, enough time at each stop, well worth the money, nice. The views were amazing, with detailed description from the tour guide, we were excited to see what was around the next curve. The waterfall, the geyser, the lava field, and even pointing out the glacier from our route. We felt like this tour gave us a glimpse of Iceland!!! Thank you to the team for a safe and enjoyable day. Highly recommend!!
- FDF-Skanderborg00Above and beyondWe were a group of scouts (FDF) from Denmark and booked 2 tours. Our guide was really good and interesting. He interacted with our young people and gave a good insight into the geology of Iceland. Supported by several personal stories and myths of Iceland
- Polina P00Highly recommend! We went on the south coast tour with Beggi and Arthur and had a wonderful time - they were friendly, taught us a lot about Iceland and its history, and took us to some truly beautiful spots (even a few extras outside of our itinerary). We even caught the aurora at night on our way home! Would highly recommend this tour to see some epic sights.
- kaiotan36900Great bus guideThe tour of visit the south coast was ameizing for me. The bus guide mr Danis is a great guide, his english is easy to understand, and also he was good to explain about iceland🇮🇸. Also the jokes ( ´∀`)b I highly recommend to use bustravel.is Thenk you for an amazing experience.
- rond62800Wonderful day trip and guideI did the golden circle tour last year but with the snowmobiling missed out on the tomato farm, horse show and visit to crater. Our full day included the kerid crater and Fredheimar Tomato Farm as well as Gullfoss waterfall, the geysers and Thingvellir national park. Our guide Tom even gave us a couple of unexpected stops which I’ve added pics. Tom was very informative and had a great sense of humor.
- Konstantinos M00Life experiencesWonderful experience,a lot of photos and memories .The tour was perfectly organized.Devon is one of a kind as a tour guide😊.
- TravelingClassy00Fantastic but other tourists made the vibe difficult. We loved Glaicer Lagoon and seeing the beautiful waterfalls along the way. Unfortunately this trip didn’t go to plan as well as we had hoped but it wasn’t due to the operator but the people we was with. The French group of tourists couldn’t figure out how to use a clock and although the guide had mentioned on a number of occasions that we needed to leave diamond beach for our booked tour the French simply couldn’t figure that out. They was left behind by the coach which had waited. When we got to the ticketing area the rest of their group caught up and shouted at the guide who apologised to them. (Frankly I don’t think he should have as they was the ones who were being self centred. They didn’t care if we got on the boat or not and didn’t understand the concept of a time slot. They seemed to speak very good English but claimed they couldn’t understand the time. Therefore I need to make it SUPER CLEAR. This tour is in ENGLISH ONLY. We also had other tourists who couldn’t follow basic simple orders on the boat. They had been asked to sit down while the boat truck was moving but they couldn’t understand. (Once again I suspect they booked the tour without understanding the English language) it was only when I raised my voice they sat down. Other women tried to get them to sit down but they seemed to ignore them. The French tourists were absolutely rude to the guide and they claimed they was going to complain about him. I hope this sets the record straight from our perspective. Unfortunately they came across so self entitled we couldn’t believe it. Infuriating! When we did experience the tour I was often asked by social media influencers to be a camera man when I wanted to just get on with my own photography. Now that’s out of the way let’s get onto the overall experience. The weather was mixed (this is Iceland after all!) that meant that one of the experiences did get cut from our itinerary. The experience in question included an area with unpredictable waves and with wind in the area I can see why it was cut from our itinerary. We got to experience water falls, glaciers, good food and overall the hikes were not too crazy. We didn’t go behind the waterfall as by the time we got to it at 20:00 the waterfall had spotlights on it but the behind track did not. Anyway onto the tour operator, we was on a lovely coach. Not many people, plenty of leg space. Some advice, if you are planning to do this trip you must be prepared. Please don’t show up with just a skirt and high heels like one of our fellow tourists. Don’t test this like a social media show. It’s nature, it’s real and it doesn’t care how many likes you have. Our guide was fantastic, kept the trip going and he made every effort to keep us in the loop. The only element of criticism I would offer would be we had very short windows for diamond beach. We got 30 minutes on the beach which wasn’t that long. I think the boat tour should have been first then the beach without the stress of people missing the boat. That’s my only suggestion. Overall we had fun, we enjoyed ourselves and we experienced something very special. Thanks for making our trip to Iceland extra special!
- Q6624QOkarlaa00Great service and trip!Breathtaking views and scenery! Best guide! Jóna made the drive interesting by sharing stories, information, fun facts, etc. She kept us on schedule so we could have enough time in all the places. The tour just ran very smooth and Jóna always was there to answer our questions and help with advice. Really great service!

This tour was the first of four already booked by my travel agent, before flying to Iceland. The tour guide was Bergsteinn (Beggi). I highly recommend for future travelers to book this tour as their first one too because one can see some many beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, mountains, towns, a glacier, and icebergs. I was amazed during all the tour by so much beauty. Also, I enjoyed every minute that the tour guide spent talking because he is so knowledgeable, patriotic, proud of his culture, and in love of the nature. His experience acquired by doing international traveling has left a print in him as to all the travelers that I met in Iceland. Being in contact with the nature and cultural diversity make the person more sensible and the tour guide Beggi is like that.

Fantastic trip if you love waterfalls, beaches, caves and glaciers. Our guide Anna (and driver Albert) were fantastic. There was ample time to see all the sites and see the two waterfalls from different angles.. We climbed to the top of one and walked behind the other. The black beach was lovely because of its unique rock formations (which you can climb) and we also visited a quiet little town. Along the way, is diverse scenery with plenty of photo opportunities so don’t fall asleep - from moss covered lava rocks, to farmland, ice capped mountains and volcanoes. We even got to see some local sheep and plenty of Icelandic horses. There were several short stops for food and toilets. It was a fun day and we learnt heaps from our wonderful guide from history, geology, geography to having fun learning some Icelandic words and getting an insight into life for the average Icelandic resident eg. eduation, living conditions, pastimes, music etc.

The whole trip was amazing great guide ,great scenery not as much time as we would have liked at a couple of the stops but still well worth the 8.00 start and 10 hr day the waterfalls are beutifull and in the sunshine there was a lovely rainbow next to the waterfalls also the last one you visit you can walk behind it but you will need wet gear or you will get smoked and most important plenty of toilet and food stops

What a fantastic full day trip. Peter our guide was brilliant. Great knowledge and easy to get on with. He kept us informed on the journey without going on too much. You get enough time to see each site and a comfy bus to travel in. I would highly recommend this and would say it was good value for money.

We had a fantastic time on our tour with Devin. He was highly knowledgeable, funny and a great time overall. Extra points for having a smooth late night dj voice. Iceland is incredibly beautiful but having the right company (especially for a long tour) makes all the difference. This is my second tour of the south and I loved it

Hi, no you won’t have to pay any admission fees. Only the Lagoons and some tours already include fees in their price

Same thing happened to us. They ditched us! Call the credit card company and challenge the charge. BusIceland through Viator was our tour operator. Horrible and no help! We got the refund but it was our last day in Iceland, so we forcefully forked out $1000 almost on a private taxi but did most of the things since we didn’t want to waste our trip.

I want to add that if you are traveling with someone, have someone head to the food line first to place your order. The stops are reasonably long but most of the food is made to order and can take a little while. The food is very good but you dont want to be the last to order and possibly feeling rushed to get back on the bus.

Just the drop off point. There's a series of bus stops around the city to help limit the traffic so they tend not to make special stops.
