Tallinn Day Cruise from Helsinki
From US$228.82
Overview
Discover picturesque Tallinn, Estonia’s capital, on a small-group day trip from Helsinki by ferry. After hotel pickup, cruise across the Gulf of Finland to Estonia by comfortable ferry. Then, set off on an afternoon tour of this lovely city by foot and air-conditioned transport. View top Tallinn sights including the cobbled Old Town, Toompea Hill and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral as you hear about the city’s history and culture. Afterward, (depending on timings), enjoy time at leisure before your return ferry trip. Numbers limited to nine for a more personalized atmosphere.
What to Expect
You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel around 9:30am to start this full-day trip to the medieval city of Tallinn.
On the ferry that departs at 10:30am, you can enjoy a range of restaurants and bars, do shopping and have fun while comfortably crossing the Gulf of Finland on your way to the beautiful capital of Estonia. When you arrive in Tallinn at around 12:30pm, you will meet your guide to get prepared to have a great day out in this historical city. During the city tour you will see the main city square and the city hall, towers and houses of guilds from Middle Ages, Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral and Kadriog Park, Toompea Castle and much more.
Tallinn, Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea, retains its walled, cobble stoned Old Town, home to cafes and shops, as well as Kiek in de Kök, a 15th-century defensive tower. The Old Town, dating from around the 15th century, is Estonia’s only UNESCO World Heritage site, and is more than worthy of the title.
On the ferry returning to Helsinki, you can relax and enjoy refreshments on board (at own expense) while reliving the memories made on your trip to Tallinn.
The return ferry departs Tallinn at 7:30pm. You will return back to Helsinki at 9:30pm where you will transfer back to your hotel.

Tallinn a beautiful city

Tallinn is a very beautiful and historic city. We went for one day, and found this amount of time inadequate to do Tallinn justice. Needs a few days. The ferry we went on was very crowded, and there was no outdoor space for non-smokers. The...More

200€, really?

Is this a joke? This is a blatant rip off price, and people who posted this should be ashamed of themselves. Do yourself a favor and buy directly from the shipping company.

Price is ripoff on this page

From CHF 232.63?? Are you kidding me? A ferry ticket costs like 20 Euro. So if you don't want to get ripped off you just book the ticket directly and save like 200 Euro.

We did not travel on Eckeroline so not sure if I can answer your question. We found our ferry to be very crowded and noisy. If we did the trip again, we would probably pay extra to have the lounge.

We did not book seats. You can sit where you like, although there are not enough seats for everyone inside if it is a very full ship. There are also seats on deck if the weather is fine
