- Children must be at least 12 years old to join the tour. Please note that the minimum height overrules the age (we do not have children bikes).
- Minimum height: 1.40 m.
- This tour needs a minimum of 2 persons booked on to operate, if the minimum number is not reached you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
- The tour will take place in all weather conditions unless your guide deems it unsafe to do so. Please dress appropriately.
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- CHECK IN time is 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Arriving at departure time or afterwards will likely result in you missing your tour.

This was an easy and informative bike tour. I was here on business and took the tour to get a sense of the city and it worked out well (and everything was on time). It’s low key and suitable for anyone since the roads are pretty flat and we stayed on bike paths. The guide was friendly and made sure the group was together and shared knowledge about Sweden’s history and the landmarks in just the right amount — not too much that we’d lose interest but enough so we understood what we were looking at — and his English was excellent. The tour lasted three hours and included a break of about half an hour at a lovely garden/orchard.

This was different then the typical walking tour - I really enjoyed it. The bikes worked well and biking is pretty easy within the city. Also we were able to cover a lot more and it was good exercise. Our tour guide was Doris and she was really helpful in answering all of the groups questions about what we were seeing and about different things to do around the city in general. I had a great time and highly recommend it - especially to kick off your trip.

I booked Stockholm at a glance bike tour as a solo rider. There ended up being 8 others in the group. Gina was our guide and did a great job of showing us around, also stopping at various points along the ride to give us information and asking if we had any questions. If you are going to book this bike tour, my advise is to go on it upon arriving in Stockholm so you’ll get a good idea of where sites are in the city.

We have done bike tours in cities around the world. This one rates the lowest by far. Our tour guide, Doris, is studying to be a teacher. She spoke to us like we were second graders. She kept asking the group questions like we knew the answers and then stood there and stared at us when we didn’t. She had been in Stockholm for two years and knew very little about the city, or the country, the government, the economics, the politics, current events, she didn’t share much about the buildings we biked past. The bikes were also below average. My wife upgraded to a nine speed bike for an additional $12. The bike seat was not properly adjusted and when we asked Doris for an Allen wrench so we could adjust it she said it wasn’t allowed. My wife called the Stockholm Adventures office mid-ride and explained the situation, and they told Doris to loan us an Allen wrench. We adjusted the bike seat and my wife was able to enjoy the rest of the ride.

We are sad to hear that you did not enjoy your bike tour but we really appreciate your feedback since we always strive to improve.
We are surprised to hear that you did not enjoy the tour with Doris since she has been one of the most appreciated guides of this summer season. Her approach of asking question to the participants has proven to be good to break the ice and start a conversation within the group and make the tour more entertaining and everyone engaged.
We check the bikes periodically but sometimes the bikes might need adjustments for personal preferences. We are going to make sure that bikes mechanics that can easily be fixed are always fixed, so that everybody is comfortable with their bike during the tour.
We hope you had a nice stay in Stockholm.

We took two private e-bike tours with Sandra: Stockholm at a Glance and Sodermalm. We learned a lot, really enjoyed riding e-bikes which made biking uphill effortless and so a lot in a relatively short period of time. Sandra was patient and knowledgeable guide, highly recommend.

Safe and pleasant ride and a good introduction to the islands and sights.
Doris our guide was friendly and took good care of all needs. I am a nervous cyclist but the route was not challenging and mostly on cycle path. We particularly enjoyed stopping mid route on ‘museum’ island. We bought ice cream nearby in a lovely park area.
The tour included some photos shared with us for no extra charge, which was a nice bonus,
One slight criticism was that too much time was taken on each ‘talking’ stop, we didn’t need to wait around so long, but maybe Doris was careful to check we weren’t getting overly tired. Too rushed would have been far worse!
Easy to find the location opposite the station but on the other side of the river. Please note the shop front is called ‘Stockholm Adventures’

We loved our Stockholm bike tour! It was a great way to learn a more about the city, including how to walk/bike to and from the various islands. We discovered areas where we could go back and spend more time later. Sandra was a great guide, knew a lot about the city and kept the biking at a great pace (not too fast, not too slow).

We were in Stockholm on an 8 hour layover and decided to go on this bike tour to maximize our time in the city. Benoit was a fantastic guide with plenty of stories, and our fellow bikers were a lot of fun! We checked out a lot of beautiful sights that we would have missed if we had walked around by ourselves, and Benoit also had recommendations for places to visit if we had time. I injured my knee a few months ago and was a little sore by the end of the easy bike ride, and tour operators took the time to make sure I was okay. The city was beautiful in the summer, and I will definitely book this tour again to see the city in other seasons!

Only enjoy the ebike. My wife had the regular bike which was of very poor quality!. The guide had good knowledge but little organizing skills for the bikers to be safe and to adhere to rules. Resulted in an accident with bikers in the group. Was not a good experience in the whole.

Thanks for your honest feedback. We always strive to improve so we will take all your comments in consideration. We think safety goes always first, so we will talk with the guide to make sure that every part of the tour is run safe.
Our regular bikes are easy-to-ride 2 speed handmade bikes that have worked great with very few problems throughout the summers, but we will double check that they are correctly set up before the tours to avoid disappointment.

We had a blast on this tour. Doris was a brilliant guide. In 3 hours we saw a lot of Stockholm that would have taken days if we were walking or would be unseen from a bus. Highly recommend taking early on so you can get your bearings and then you can revisit locations, museums, parks etc.
