Lisbon Tram 28: Campo de Ourique Food and Cultural Tour
From US$83.96
Overview
Experience Lisbon like a local on a walking tour that explores Lisbon food in a non-touristy neighborhood. You’ll pause for a series of 10 tastings and five drinks while walking one mile (1.6 km.) over mostly flat terrain, learning about about life in Lisbon along the way. This tour is a great way to discover Lisbon beyond tourist sites, and it’s limited to 12 travelers to ensure personal service.
What to Expect
Make your way to a location on the historic Tram 28 line, then set out on foot through a vibrant local neighborhood.

The guide will share insights into Lisbon food and culture as you stroll to a series of six stops, which include 10 food tastings and five different drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. Tastings are a delicious surprise, but some highlights include a restaurant that specializes in pulled pork, a bakery with indulgent chocolate cake, a seafood spot, and local markets.

During the tour, take advantage of your time with a local, food-loving guide to ask questions about what to eat, drink, and experience while visiting Lisbon, the vibrant heart of the Portuguese food scene.

All over Portugal you will always find seafood, lots of varieties of fresh fish and many different recipes for bacahao (salted cod). I was there two months and ate so much fish I grew gills!
