1.5-Hour Amphibious Sightseeing in Lisbon
From US$29.95
Discover Lisbon by land and water on an amphibious tour that explores historic neighborhoods and the Tagus River. Seeing Lisbon by amphibious vehicle means you’ll have unobstructed views of riverside landmarks, including the Belem Tower and Padrao dos Descobrimentos, while getting a great overview of the city’s main attractions.
What to Expect
Make your way to Docas de Santo Amaro, where you’ll board an amphibious tour bus and set out through the city. The route is carefully designed to take in main sites, including Cais do Sodre, Praça do Comercio, Rua da Prata, Rossio, and Avenida da Liberdade, a bustling thoroughfare lined with lush gardens.

From there, pass the Marques de Pombal, Largo do Rato, and Jardim da Estrela on your way into the riverside neighborhood of Belem, entering the water at Doca do Bom Sucesso, a former naval dock in the heart of the city.

Once in the water, you’ll have great views of the Lisbon waterfront on your way to the Padrão dos Descobrimentos and Torre de Belem, part of a gorgeous UNESCO World Heritage Site with centuries of history. The tour concludes at the original departure point, close to top attractions and sights.

We took a 1.5 hour tour yesterday with the wonderful Martha and driver Pedro. There are plenty of tour options in Lisbon, from the ubiquitous open top bus, to tuk tuk, to walking tours. We read up on all of them and decided on Hippotrip,...More

I'm unsure where the cruise ships dock but Hippotrip is about 0.5 km east of the Ponte de 25 Abril. That's the bridge which looks like the Golden Gate bridge (constructed by the same company). The trains run down there. Was... More
