Small-Group Day Trip to Sintra and Cascais from Lisbon
From US$93.14
Sintra's fairy-tale castles are scattered unevenly throughout the region, making it difficult to see them all off without hiring a car. Easily travel between Pena National Palace, Sintra historic center, and Cascais on a day trip from Lisbon—a stress-free way to cover more ground in less time. Plus, an intimate group limited to eight means you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and not wait around for a large group.
What to Expect

Your day trip begins with pickup from your Lisbon accommodation, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach destined for Sintra. The first stop is the Palace of Queluz, where you’ll have ample time to explore.

Next up is Pena National Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site characterized by lemon-yellow domes and pink walls. Tour the palace with your small group before heading to another UNESCO-listed area: the historic center of Sintra.

Enjoy free time to wander and purchase lunch before you reconvene with your guide and travel to Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point. See, too, the beaches of Cascais and the Gardens of the Casino of Estoril before your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

The perfect tour!

Luis was our driver and he was fantastic, knowledgeable about everything you could ask about but in a way where he knows when to turn it on and off. He even helped me find a cigar shop in Sintra and showed us all the tips...More

Really enjoyed this tour. It was a great variety of things to see plus some free time for lunch and shop visits. We were promptly picked up and dropped off at our Airbnb which was so much appreciated. Sintra and Cascais are delightful and we...More

It included National Palace of Queluz, Pena Palace, Sintra, Cascais and Hell’s Mouth. The relative entry fees were ‘not’ included and cost around €25 for all three, if I remember correctly.
