This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Galveston. So glad we got Pirate John as our guide. He was great, and it was comical to me as we moved to different locations that this group of people was following this pirate around the town. I was more interested in the history of the island than in ghosts, my wife was more interested in hearing about haunted stuff. We both got what we wanted with this tour.

Andrew was great! He told stories in an interesting and engaging way. We went for our friends birthday and had a great time. A rude guy hassled Andrew at the beginning of our tour and he handled it professionally the best way he could. Recommend completely!

Our guide was entertaining and very full of info. We learned about the storm and some personal stories of other prominent people in Galveston’s history. He did a fantastic job. Only downside was It would have been more fun to delve into the ghost thing a little more. Comparing to some other ghost tours where they told more about sightings. Nothing to do with the guide at all, just the content. But I was definitely glad we spent the money. Well worth it.

On Sunday, February 28, 2021, we were on the 8PM Storm on the Strand Tour with tour guide Josh for 90 minutes.
Josh provided us with 1900 Storm trivia and stories we had never heard. The walk around the strand area was not long. It is apparent how much Josh loves the history of Galveston by his enthusiasm on the tour. We want to learn more.
We were not looking for ghosts but hearing about them and learning their stories.
Having a Groupon for the tour was worth it.

I knew Galveston had a spooky history but wow it is even more ghoulish than I imagined! Our tour guide, Josh, was knowledgeable of not only Galveston’s ghost history but of the paranormal world in general! He was animated and entertaining. My daughter was “nervous” about being scared but he kept things lively and fun! I’ll definitely be checking out the other tours from this company. 10/10 Highly recommend!

This was a pretty good ghost tour. Our guide was dressed the part of a pirate and I just loved that! It created a nice ambiance for the group. She seemed knowledgeable and she seemed to believe all of the ghost stories herself which really made us feel that they could be true! I would recommend this tour!

You cannot beat the value offered by this tour company. Josh went was well spoken and was very accurate about the happenings of the 1900 storm (All of my children were required to study in their Galveston County school). If you don't believe in ghosts you should. Our group of 12 got creeped out at a couple of the locations. Just take the tour and ask for Josh. You will not regret it.

OMG! not only are the buildings beautiful on the strand they are so haunted. The tour guide Nikki was great and made sure to tell us where we could catch some of the old spirits floating around. My teenage son was a nonbeliever until he saw a shadowy figure in the alley. I will book again on next trip for our family outing.

Learned a lot about Galveston and the ghost. Actually saw the strangest thing happen with a window. The window contracted and expanded right before our eyes as if the window came to life!!! 😳😱 We all could see. Paranormal activity is real in Galveston. The tour guide was great ask for Nikki.

My wife and I love Galveston and visit as often as we can for several years. We have always wanted to do a ghost tour but never did until November 15. Our guide, Josh, did a wonderful job of sharing the creepy history of Galveston. Seriously, he and the tour was one of the best experiences of our weekend. Highly recommended. I literally had chills at certain points.
