What to expect
Depart from Brussels in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach and begin your scenic journey to the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. Marvel at the traditional Dutch windmills and flower-filled fields that pepper the surroundings then disembark at a traditional craft center after approximately three hours of driving. Browse enticing stalls bursting with wooden clogs, gorgeous pottery, fresh tulips and appetizing cheese as you explore the market. Enjoy an optional lunch (own expense) then stroll beside the Amstel River to capture fantastic photographs beside a quaint windmill. Return to the coach and continue to Amsterdam, passing the Dutch National Bank and the colossal Heineken Brewery as you travel to the center. On arrival, venture to the historical Dam Square to absorb the charming ambience of the enclave, and then embark on an informative guided walking tour with your knowledgeable guide. Marvel at the fabulous façade of the Royal Palace of Amsterdam and stroll parallel to picturesque waterways as you explore the renowned red light district. Peruse bespoke boutiques for special souvenirs then reconvene with your guide and group at a pre-arranged time to journey back to Brussels.

This is a very good day trip to Amsterdam. Tour guide allowed guest to have good photo opportunities. She was really nice, very knowledgeable and very patient. Some members of our group are not always on time but our tour guide managed to wait for them and still provide us the highlights of the tour. Went to see local artisans with wooden shoes, local crafts and the cheese. Part of the tour was intro to cheese making. saw some Holland's cows in a barn. We were led to a windmill for photo op. At the center of Amsterdam, we were given an hour or so to explore the city, its shops, food and historical highlights including Anne Franks house, with a very long line of visitors, the Royal Palace facade, Dam square, etc. Good for solo travel and with family members. Wear comfy shoes coz there's a lot of walking.

A lot of information
Dec 2019
We were met by our guide Miriam who was full of knowledge but also made it light hearted and enteraining. We visited a small cheese factory and windmill and then she gave a walking tour of Amsterdam, visiting the flower market. We had time to walk and see more at our leisure and nothing was to much trouble. Our driver Tonki was excellent and we would use them again .

Informative little trip
Informative full day trip to Amsterdam with our host Miriam, who provided both cultural and historical information on Brussels, Belgium, Amsterdam, Holland & the Netherlands.

She advised of ideas on what you can do when in Amsterdam & also included a walking tour with herself.

You have approximately 5 hours to explore Amsterdam which is plenty of time for an introduction to Amsterdam

A very crowded Saturday in Amsterdam.
Oct 2019
The trip started with showing us sights in Brussels from the time the bus took off. I got to see a lot of Brussels. We went to a Holstein Diary farm and this was the best place to buy souvenirs so I could leave them on the bus and not haul all over Amsterdam. Once there it was very crowded but luckily for me I had got a ticket at the office for a canal tour and had been told to go directly to the tour. I thought I had a lot of time with 3 hours there but it was so crowded I only had enough time to do the walking tour and then get to the canal tour. With both tours, I saw most of what I wanted to see. I had enough time to be a slice of pizza and drink before leaving. The staff at the office in the morning and those on the tour were all very helpful. I was told in Europe they do not trip and this was wrong. I did feel bad I did not have cash for the tip for the Driver and the guide.

A part from a few things. The tour was excellent. Long drive to and from amsterdam, but you have to expect it. Walking around Amsterdam is excellent, its a such a diverse place, so much to see and the small walk we did down to dam square was very good. The stop to see clogs and cheese making was good too.

We all really enjoyed the trip and the guide. It is highly recommended. Wish we were not mocked for our Asian look being from UK. Guide asked us “ are you sure you really from UK?” We found it a bit offensive. Despite guide was very knowledgable and explained everything properly.
Still recommend it and perhaps will use them again.
And message to the guide “yes we are from UK, ethnicity wise we belong to other Asian category” Originally from Nepal.

The trip was excellent. The tour guide Bruno was very good and very informative and the bus driver Momo ( don’t think it’s spelt right) was very professional and a safe driver. The stop off was well worth it within the cheese factory and my 11 year old son enjoyed it. The walking tour by Bruno was interesting and informative and gave us all an insight of Amsterdam. We also had 3 and a half hours of free time and enjoyed that too. Overall superb experience!

Great day trip
Jun 2019 • Couples
It was a long but great day. The bus air conditioning coped OK which was good as it was a very hot day. Recommend sitting on the left side of the bus as the sun streams in from that side both going and coming back. Bus is comfortable enough although not a lot of room in front of you, a bit like flying economy class.
Bruno, our guide was really good, ebullient, fun and very knowledgeable on the areas visited. He was also very fluent and clear in three languages. Each comment was made in English, French and Spanish over a good speaker set up.

The Cheese factory and clog making workshop was just OK for me, it's main use was to give us a break during the 3 hour bus trip. Others seem to enjoy it, but having seen cheese making beforehand it was not especially interesting for me.

In Amsterdam Bruno gave us a quick 15min tour to the Dam Place which was enough to give us a sense of direction and then we were free to wander for the rest of the afternoon. An afternoon was enough to get around to see many of the city's highlights and have a lunch. If you want to visit museums and art galleries this trip is too short.

There was a discounted boat ride offered but we preferred to spend the time exploring.

Bruno reinforced a number of times it is essential to be back in time for the bus at 5.45pm because it cannot wait at the pick up point. I was pleasantly surprised that all 53 passengers made it on time and there were no problems.

Overall a good day and I'm pleased we did the trip and it was good value for money considering the amount of travel.
My only negative I have is I question why people bring very young children on these trips. When having to travel somewhere I understand that necessity and we all have to live with it. However on these sort of trips why inflict your fractious and loudly grizzling child on 50 other people for a couple of hours at a time.
