Andrea is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. She explained the rivalry between Pisa and Florence while explaining the Medici family influence on Pisa. Walking through the cathedral and then having access to the tower was very interesting. It was wonderful to explore the Square of Miracles and ending with information about the leaning tower. Excellent tour and Andrea is amazing. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Great tour, excellent tour guide. She was knowledgeable and easy to listen to. She was informative but made it fun. She checked everyone was OK and answered questions. The climb up the leaning tower was lots of steps, so only do this if you can manage over 300 steps. The steps weren't steep, but in places the marble was a little slippery and worn and uneven. The climb was worth it for fabulous views over the city and the cathedral.

Really lovely guide, who was super knowledgable and informative. Very good value for money - we needed up having a private tour when no one else turned up - so pleased it was not cancelled.

I lead small group tours all over Europe, and have used many guides. This was one of my best experiences. Our guide was entertaining and provided enough detail that we learned some interesting facts, but brief enough that we didn't get bored. I will use Discovery Pisa again when I return next year!

Our guide, Celia, was friendly and full of knowledge. She took the time to get to know us in order to make the experience more personal. She taught us many things about the area of Pisa, including history and how to find good gelato. Highly recommend - thank you Celia!

Our guide was absolutely amazing. She was funny and she had a lot of good information. She kept us in the shade and was able to get us into good vantage points for pictures. Two thumbs up!!

An excellent guided tour, with a very knowledgeable guide. We had an earlier tour of the cathedral, but learned a lot more from our guide! She was helpful in keeping us in the shade when outside on a very hot and humid day. The choice for the wine tasting (Pecorino restaurant) was great, and we returned there for dinner that night.

I did five tours in Italy. This one was by far the best. It wasn't the specific sights that necessarily made it the best. It was the guide. She did an truly excellent job. The level of detail she went into was brilliant. She was able to answer all the questions. She did a great job in sharing the facts while also injecting fun into the topics as well.

The tour was brilliant! We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour that day and our guide Celia was lovely and very informative. There was a great spread of traditional foods. Would definitely recommend

Our tour was amazing! Alessia (I hope I spelled this correctly) was excellent! She showed us everything and gave us a detailed history with added humor. She answered all questions and had a lot of energy. The entire group enjoyed it.

Poor quality tour Started late Team surely knew cathedral was closed for tourists for few hours (mass in the church), should have rescheduled the timing but guide decided to make the group stand outside in wind & rain chatting away. Had to visit inside of cathedral separately on our own Very poor organisation

Enjoyed this morning tour with Andrea (...Allora!"...) with a nice summary of history, and debunking myths / outdated info. January is a great time to go, because you don't have the crush of excess tourists nor steamy hot weather. She gives tips on how to navigate the cathedral / baptistry / city walls, and your trip up 294+ steps of the Torre Pendente (Leaning Tower... )

The tour guide was excellent and quite funny. She new her history with a comical twist. The sites were amazing even though it’s not a big area it’s worth seeing. I was not originally planning to go but I’m glad I did. Loved it

Our guide lady was very nice, but the tour was a little boring, plus the brutal heat, well not a good combo. They shall pick a much better location to meet, it was hard to find them.
