Overview
Enjoy some of the best views of Florence while learning the history of its most treasured architectural masterpiece on a Duomo climbing tour. Make your way to the top of Brunelleschi's famous dome with a guide, pausing along the way to hear about its remarkable construction and hidden artworks. Linger as long as you like after the tour, and get access to the Baptistery, Bell Tower, Crypt, Cathedral, and Duomo Museum with your ticket.
What to Expect

This Duomo tour includes tickets to the Dome, Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the reservation for Climbing the Dome. In addition, the guide will give you a thorough overview while happily answering your questions. This guided tour takes part as you climb the Duomo and afterward you can explore the complex in a way and pace that fits your needs.

Florence’s Duomo Complex stands tall and proud, keeping the glory of Renaissance alive even today. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is the fourth largest church in the world while the complex, including the Baptistery and Giotto’s Campanile, is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Being a large and complex structure, it was not a work of one man. The cathedral construction began at the end of 13th century with the leadership of Arnolfo di Cambio. However, the Duomo part which overtakes most of the exterior was added in the 15th century by Filippo Brunelleschi. You can see the statues of both architects outside the cathedral on the right.
