We enjoy a lot the way Irina guide us through the exceptional pieces of art in this museum. The enthusiasm and sympathy, the knowledge and clearance, show Irina as a great professional. Someone to recommend.

A Bit of History
Florence is a captivating travel destination. It’s attractive not only because of its rich gastronomy, lush countryside, and eventful history but also the collections of remarkable artistic masterpieces. While there is an array of museums and galleries all around town, Accademia and Uffizi remain the top attractions.
The foundation of Galleria Degli Uffizi dates to the sixteenth century. In 1560, the first Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo I de’Medici, commissioned the construction. However, the idea behind the project wasn’t a gallery at all. “Uffizi” meaning “offices” in ancient Italian was built to house offices for important Florentine judges, magistrates, and merchants. It wasn’t for other two hundred years the offices became a gallery and opened to the public.
Private Uffizi tour will take you on a phenomenal journey across the eclectic history of art.
