We did a small group guided tour of the Accademia Gallery primarily to see Michelangelo's "David". Our guide, Martina, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and engaging at the same time. I would highly recommend her as a guide. (Her English was impeccable - and it was her first time giving the tour in English!)

From the first our guide was all we could want in amiability and knowledge but she also brought us her own sense of excitement in being in the presence of masterpieces of the ages.

Focused of course on the Michelangelo sculptures, starting from the very interesting ones that look unfinished but are actually finished works. Can see individual chisel marks from large to small giving some insight into how the works are created. Tour guide gave helpful background and history and pointed out many details that would typically be missed or unappreciated.

Tour did not start at 9 am as scheduled. Despite being marketed as “skip the line”, there was still a waiting. Not good value for the price.

Traveling with my elderly parents who have limited mobility, this was an excellent choice. Rosella, our guide, was very punctual, kind, and considerate of everyone in our group, which was only 7 people plus the guide (much more manageable, as some groups are quite large). Tour lasted an hour, and Rosella's commentary was interesting and added to the experience. After the tour, you are free to spend as much additional time as you like. Tour is available in a variety of languages.

We went on the tour on 3rd July 2018 and Riccardo was our guide. Having done a number of tours with various providers on our recent Italian holiday, we found Accord was the most organised in terms of finding our contact and getting organised for the tour. In particular, we found our guide Riccardo to be highly engaging and knowledgeable. My wife and I noted his passion for Florence and his ability to captivate the group with his stories and explanations. We thoroughly enjoyed the Accademia Gallery tour and would highly recommend Accord as a provider when considering booking similar tours.

There was originally a mix up in the meeting location; however, we called the tour company and they rescheduled for the afternoon. It was great to skip the line. Elisabetta was very thorough and paced the tour well. We also toured the Uffizi with her and found her very knowledgeable. Viewing the David was worth the wait and rescheduling. It really makes a difference to see the statue in person. The other highlight were the 'unfinished' Michelangelo marbles. If you had to chose between the Uffizi or the Accademia, I would pick the Uffizi if you wanted to see more.
