Cultural Diversity in Palermo
If you are visiting Palermo, this tour is a must. I didn’t realize what a cultural melting pot Palermo is or its unique and complicated history until our tour with Alberto. There is so much diversity in the art and architecture of Palermo and Alberto was excellent in showing and explaining it all. We walked through the city and visited some incredibly special places, including the royal chapel. We would never have learned even a quarter of what we learned with Alberto had we tried touring on our own. Don’t miss out—take this tour!

It takes a Sicilian to introduce you to Sicily
We booked our tour just a few days in advance and were lucky enough to get a slot on such a short notice.

We meet Alberto exactly on time and we kicked it off immediately. He showed us the most amazing parts of Palermo and introduced us to local ways and customs we simply wouldn’t be able to experience without someone like him. He was also able to take us inside some of the most famous places of arts and crafts so we got to meet local artists (deliberately not writing craftsmen) and to taste some of the local food and sweets free of charge.

In the end, over a coffee he helped us plan the rest of our 7-day stay in Sicily and even shared some of the contacts he has from all around the island to help us feel welcomed.

We warmly recommend this tour and when we’re back to Sicily we’ll definitely get in touch!

Marcella was truly the highlight of our time in Palermo. We had a wonderful day with her, showing us the sights. She grew up in this city and knows everything and everyone. She is also just a joy to be around. Anyone traveling to Palermo should book a tour with her, well worth every moment!

Great introduction to Palermo
Sep 2020
This was a great introduction to Palermo and our guide, Mauro, was excellent, full of information and stories about the places we were seeing. (Mauro did the tour in English, but he also speaks German and Spanish.) He took us around various churches, markets and the city archive which was fascinating. If you only have a short time to see Palermo, or want to get an overview, this is an excellent tour.

A Great Introduction to Palermo!
Sep 2020 • Couples
Palermo is a great city steeped in a mosaic of history, tradition, multi-culture and traditional markets. We were so fortunate to have such a priceless orientation and perspective delivered by our guide Mauro. He was professional and engaging and provided such knowledge and enthusiasm for Sicilian history and his city. It was a terrific way to start our holiday and we truly thank him for that.

Palermo as you ever seen before
Jun 2020 • Couples
I have spent a long weekend in Palermo and I decided to deeply visit historical city centre with Mauro: it has been an amazing experience to discover history, monuments, curiosities and the real Sicilian way of life.
For sure recommended.

Through the eyes of a native!

This tour is amazing! I completely lost all sense of time. Palermo is magnificent, and being able to see it through Mauro's eyes, his passion, his love of his city made it so special. When your guide has that kind of passion and charm, it's infectious, and I was delighted to be infected!

It’s time to go back
Jan 2020 • Family
I spent 5 days with my family in Palermo and I chose Marcella as my guide for two days. I made a good choice as Marcella was able to get my two teenage sons involved in learning the history of the city and also the delicious street food.. what an incredible experience! Can’t wait to go back to Sicily again.

I felt in love with Marcella' smile the very first second I met her! Discovering Palermo through her lovely eyes was a privilege and a true pleasure. She's passionate, deeply informative, never boring. Always keen to listen to her guests and to answer to their questions.
A genuine people person!
