Excellent
We were spoilt by Andreas who took us to see the flamingoes. We were carefully trained and helped round the city as we left and then mostly travelled on cycle paths alongside the marina and then canal into the ex-sea salt harvesting area/now bird sanctuary. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting and knew where to stop to show us the best bits. Taking photos, answering questions and taking us for a drink on the return journey (part of the standard tour) - Nothing was too much trouble and we would highly recommend. Great way to see the flamingoes and see Cagliari and the ex-sea salt industry in what is now a bird sanctuary. My teenager loved it.

An amazing way to explore the city

After landing in Cagliari aiport in the morning, this was an incredibly fun way to get our first taste of Sardinia in the afternoon - why would you choose to use your legs
when you can race around on a segway? Our guide Lydia was funny, informative and considerate. She shared some really fascinating stories about Cagliari's history and gave us our first sip of the lovely Sardinian beer. We enjoyed some breath-taking views of the coast and loved the nature reserve. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, thank you!

Very fun tour
This is a must-do tour. What a brilliant way to see the city and to spot lots of flamingos. Our guide, Lydia, was knowledgeable and patient, as well as fluent in English. We enjoyed an inclusive beer near the end of the tour.

A great tour led by Ivo who spoke perfect English. We had lots of fun and he was very patient with the more nervous members of group. If you are nervous be the first to practise as it will give you a little longer! A definite must do in Cagliari

First segway experience, loved it!
We booked this tour for 2 reasons. First, we wanted to try a Segway. Secondly, we wanted to guarantee seeing flamingos (well, my wife did). We arrived and were the only two booked on the Monday morning tour. After a 5 minute training session on how to use the segway (yes, it's that easy to pick up) we were off with our guide who was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We saw a lot that you'd find difficult to see on foot during a short stay because of the distance you cover, approx 13km. The tour lasted 3hrs and included a short break for a coffee (included) overlooking the sea. This tour was probably the highlight of our trip to Cagliari.

Flamingos!
Had a great 3 hour day trip with Newway.
We came in on a cruise ship, and they were at the port selling trips for a very reasonable €58 per person for three hours.
Segway is a fantastic way to see a town and they are incredibly easy to ride. If you can ride a bike, you can ride a Segway.
We had to walk to their office from the port, which was about 10 minutes walk away, but we were given clear directions and had no problems finding the location.
Once their, we were provided with helmets and given instruction for those who had never ridden before. It really is easy for both young and old, and you’ll be scooting about before you know it.
Then, it was off for the tour, which took in the town frontage, harbour, salt plants and canals and beaches. We saw the local flamingoes, and our guide told us about local history as well. Once we reached the beaches, we had a pit stop at a local cafe, where refreshments were provided, and it was a welcome break, as being on a Segway for a while does, bizarrely, make your legs ache!
Then it was back the way we came to the local office.
An excellent way to spend a morning, and something everyone should try at least once.
Many thanks to the staff at Newway for your professionalism and friendliness too. It’s always nice to be well looked after, and we will certainly have another trip with you if we visit again.

Flamingos with some history
We selected the Flamingos tour because my wife wanted to see the flamingos but thanks to our very friendly guide Andrea we got several info about the city and Sardinia’s history too. We rode around 20kms with the segways, had a small break with coffe and bevarages included in the price. We also saw the beautiful flamingos in several places. I can definitely recommend this tour. Even if you never rode a segway you can go as there is a small tutorial at the begining so you quickly get the hang of it.
